Darrin is refused a new account in McMann and Tate, but the next day, Larry gives Darrin the account. Darrin thinks that Samantha used magic to sway Larry's decision and tries to do everything to back out of it. Even the client, Mr. Waterhouse, likes Darrin's attitude and ability. Darrin feels that Samantha is behind all that has happened to him. To teach Darrin a lesson, Samantha uses magic to turn their house into an expensive mansion with servants to boot. Darrin badly wants the Waterhouse account but Larry (David White) refuses to give it to him and he is not very happy. When Larry has an unexpected change of heart and gives Darrin the account after all, Darrin is convinced that Samantha has used witchcraft to make Larry change his mind, even though nothing could be further from the truth.

Both Darrin and Samantha are very angry and Darrin makes a total fool of himself when he does his level best to get the account taken away from him and still refuses to listen to Samantha's protestations of innocence, especially when the client and Larry are delighted with everything Darrin is doing.

Samantha finally loses her temper and goes along with Darrin's assumption that everything is the result of her witchcraft by creating a palatial mansion, fully staffed with servants ... Naturally, Darrin soon realises how wrong he has been and the couple make up. Meanwhile, Darrin is vastly relieved that all of his efforts were his own after all.moreless
