  • When Samantha's Uncle Arthur arrives for a visit, it can mean only one thing, mischief!

    6.5
Uncle Arthur (Paul Lynde) has always been a practical joker, but neither Darrin nor Endora find him the least bit amusing when he plays tricks on both of them, making Endora furious and Darrin believe that he himself can cast spells. Uncle Arthur teaches Darrin the "Yagazuzzie Zim" spell which, according to Uncle Arthur, will make Endora disappear, a state of affairs which greatly appeals to Darrin, who is going through yet another 'bad patch' with his mother-in-law.

Much hilarity ensues as Darrin attempts to put the spell on Endora - and nothing happens! Nonetheless, he DOES keep trying and Dick York gives a superb performance as poor Darrin tries his best to master his new "power".

When Darrin realises he has been tricked and Endora is angry beyond words with Uncle Arthur, Arthur finds himself in a spot of trouble for once.

A mediocre episode apart from Dick York's comedic skills shining brightly as he does his level best to get the spell right.moreless

Endora: (acts very innocently) What have I done to him?

Endora: Well, we won't go into that.
