Episode Summary

Samantha and Darrin decide to go away for a few days. Larry suggests that they stay at his cabin, which, of course, is run down and decrepit. With the help of magic, Samantha turns the eye-sore cabin into a glamorous, to-die-for dream house. It catches the eye of a prospective young couple, and they insist on buying it. Darrin is mad at Samantha and makes her change it back to the eye-sore it once was, but Sam makes the couple seem like they are looking at a beautiful house.moreless

When Samantha and Darrin decide that they can afford some time off for a few days, Larry (David White) offers them the use of his hardly-used wilderness cabins which turns out to be so old and decrepit that it is falling down around there ears. The property is up for sale but is clearly worth next to nothing due to the horrendous state of it, both indoors and out, in fact, the only thing it has going for it are superb water views from the front porch.

When heavy rain causes major roof leakage and neither Samanatha nor Darrin can stand the filthy conditions any longer, Sam decides to fix up the interior using magic and makes the place positively palatial.

Unfortunately, a young couple, just starting out who want to get away from the city to live in a quiet, peaceful place where the husband's allergies won't be affected. They adore even the outside of the cabin and are positively bowled over by the 'renovations' that Sam has done on the interior. Right away, they agree to but the property for five thousand dollars but Samantha and Darrin shame Larry into accepting only one thousand due to the state of the outside (even if the inside looks good!)

A fun episode with lots of laughs and certainly worth watching.moreless
