Poor Aunt Clara's magic is failing her and the witches council decide to hold a trial to see if she should be earthbound.

We all know that Samantha's beloved Aunt Clara gets her spells mixed up on a regular basis and most people make allowances for this fact but when the witches council decides to hold a trial to test her capabilities and check to see whether or not she should be earthbound permanently, Samantha is horrified and acts as Aunt Clara's defense counsel.

The court is held in the Stephens' living room while Darrin is out. The judge is clearly in favour of granting the council's motion and even more likely to do so when Aunt Clara cannot manage even the simplest of spells.

Just as the judge is about to decree that Aunt Clara must remain earthbound forever, Darrin arrives home and, with one sweep of her hand, Aunt Clara, unassisted, makes the courtroom and all participants disappear, showing that she still has it after all!

Samantha is delighted, especially when Aunt Clara says that her special ingredient for making the spell work so perfectly was her love for her niece.

Heartwarming and very funny, this is one episode that you must see.moreless
