Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne) is getting older and more and more forgetful and ditzy as time passes. She can no longer fly properly and her magic just doesn't work the way it used to when she was a younger witch. Both Samantha and Darrin feel very sorry for her and want to help but poor Aunt Clara is even more despondent when, just by trying to help out, she almost destroys Sam and Darrin's house.

Trying to cheer the old lady up, Samantha pays a call on a woman who has a young child. The child is totally delighted with Aunt Clara and she soon has more work than she can handle - as a babysitter for several neighborhood families.

Everything is going along smoothly and Aunt Clara is having the time of her life until she starts telling her young charges that she is a witch - and they believe her. This concerns several parents, particularly Mrs. Agnes Bain (Karen Norris) who goes before a judge to try and get an injunction to stop Aunt Clara from being around children in the future.

Judge Virgil Winner (Gilbert Green) is very fair minded and asks Aunt Clara a lot of questions, all of which she answers honestly. The sweet old lady greatly impresses the judge and infuriates Mrs. Bain when he asks her if she would mind babysitting for HIS child in the future!

Samantha and Darrin feel that Aunt Clara has had quite enough excitement for a while and decide to send her off on a vacation to Florida with some fellow witches, which means that the judge will have to wait a couple of weeks before she will be available to take care of his son.

A first-rate episode with Marion Lorne at her best as Aunt Clara. Don't miss this one!moreless
