A coven is ordered and Tabitha is tested for her powers by Endora, Aunt Clara, Aunt Hagatha and Aunt Enchantra. Tabitha passes with flying colors, proving to be an exceptionally talented witch. Hagatha, Enchantra and Endora insist that Samantha enroll Tabitha in a witches' school. Darrin comes home exactly when the decision is made and Darrin, Samantha and Aunt Clara stand against the other witches. It seems hopeless until Maurice appears and chills the three witches by zapping them to the top of Mount Everest.moreless

It's time for the strength of Tabitha's powers to be tested.

Samantha is more than a little surprised when Endora turns up in the middle of the night to tell her that a coven is being convened the following day in order to test Tabitha's magical abilities. Samantha is quite pleased but it's important that Darrin be out of the house, so it's a good thing that he is going to be working the following day.

When the time comes, the coven, consisting of Endora, Aunt Clara, Aunt Hagatha and Aunt Enchantra put Tabitha through her paces and are very pleased with the results. To the absolute shock of Samantha, they announce, after their findings, that Tabitha is so talented that she must immediately leave the family home and attend Hagatha's Magical School where Samantha herself was once a pupil.

When Darrin hears this, he is appalled, as is Samantha herself. Aunt Clara sides with them and a battle royal ensues until Samantha's father, Maurice, arrives and decrees that the child will stay with her parents.

Not a bad episode. It's always wonderful to see Aunt Clara and Endora and interesting to see that at least some magical people agree with what Darrin has to say!moreless

- Aunt Clara's lineage seems to be a bit of a mystery. In this episode, Maurice treats her as though they could be siblings, but this isn't stated. Other times it seems possible she is Endora's sister, but we are only ever told for sure that Uncle Arthur and Endora are siblings. This episode also states that Aunt Enchantra and Aunt Hagatha are sisters, but doesn't say how they are otherwise related to Samantha.
