Beyblade

The first semi-final arrives, and it's Max versus Kai in a best of 3 matches up. It should be interesting since the two are completely opposite bladers, but Kai easily overwhelms Max and breaks his defense ring into 2 pieces with his fire arrow attack.

Max is given a limited time to fix his blade. He is able to replace or repair everything except the weight disk. Then he realizes his grandmothers charm might fit on the blade. He breaks the chain the charm is on, and gets ready for round 2.

Kai quickly goes on the aggressive again in round 2, but Max seems to have gained some strength. Dranzer is summoned, and he begins to push Max's blade out of the stadium. Just as Max wishes for additional help, the charm comes to life, and the mythical Draciel emerges from the charm. With the help of Draciel, Max beats Kai in the second match.

During the second break, Kai adds a stronger power ring to his Dranzer, and when the third round begins he and Max seem equally matched. Unfortunately for Max, Kai's experience with Dranzer ends up giving him the edge and the match.

Tyson gets mad at Kai, and he promises him that he will not only face him, but defeat him in the finals. Meanwhile, Max promises Tyson to root for him the rest of the way, but as they are leaving the locker room Kai appears. He promises himself to keep an eye on Max now that he has a bitbeast.

As the second semi-final is about to begin, Mr. Dickinson warns the unknown blader not to underestimate Tyson. He says he won't, but he'll still end it quickly.
