Jack's Beyblade, Evil Befall, is completed by HD Academy just in time for the second semifinal to begin. Jack goes first against Damian and his Ram Capricorn, but the ability of Befall to cut into any surface may prove to be too much for the Europeans. Meanwhile Team Gan Gan Galaxy seeks permission to have a supplemental member placed on their team in place of the injured Tsubasa and Yu. Gingka is against the idea, but his father worries how much power Team Starbreaker will have if they don't establish such.
morelessDr. Ziggeraut uses his arrangement system to program Zeo with data on Team Excalibur to get them ready for the next battle. After failing to adapt fully to the program, Zeo is sent after Ryuga with a time limit of bringing him back before Damian's arrangement system download is completed. Meanwhile Madoka finishes repairs to Eagle and Libra. While trying to test the repaired Eagle and Libra, Gingka and Masamune get distracted by Zeo pursuing Ryuga. Zeo ends up revealing his hatred for Masamune leading to a battle. Damian's arrangement finishes and Ziggeraut sends him out to retrieve Ryuga as well. Instead of running into Ryuga, Damian runs into Yu and Tsubasa and decides to test his Hades: Kerbecs blade on the newly repaired Eagle and Libra. Masamune, Gingka, and Zeo get distracted by the appearance on Hades: Kerbecs. Zeo returns to HD Academy knowing his time has run out while Gingka runs to find his friends badly hurt and their blades fully destroyed.
morelessWhile Gingka and his friends have another day of practice, Ryuga is doing battle with Zeo at the HD Academy. When Ruga defeats Zeo, Dr. Zigguraut reveals himself to Ryuga and reveals he was the head of Doji and the Dark Nebula. As Zigguraut reveals his plans with Ryuga and the Attach System, Ryuga blows his temper and blows up part of the HD Academy so he can leave.
morelessWith the information Zeo gave him, Masamune heads to a local hospital with the rest of Gan Gan Galaxy. There he meets with Toby. It is revealed that Toby is the first friend Zeo made in America, and the history of how Toby, Masamune, and Zeo became friends is revealed.
Gan Gan Galaxy arrives in America where Masamune runs off to visit his old friend Toby. When he arrives at the hospital Toby is no longer present. While sightseeing Gingka and the others run into Masamune, who tries to leave and darts off to his old training area- Dungeon Gym. Gingka and the others follow him and learn about Masamune's past. As masamune gets ready to leave and track down Zeo and the HD Academy Zeo shows up at Dungeon Gym. Zeo gives Masamune the location where Toby is staying, but then he challenges Masamune to a beybattle. They go to a neutral bey arena where the two battle with all their hearts but stop before their special moves can be launched knowing that Toby needs to be present to watch the final blows. As Masamune and the rest of Gan Gan Galaxy head back to Dungeon Gym, Zeo is found saying he will never forgive Masamune. Why does Zeo have such a hatred for Masamune, his old friend? What is causing Toby's illness?
morelessAfter Argo pulls off a sneak attack on Pegasus, the match is evened up 3-3 leaving Argo and Tsubasa to battle it out for the right to advance to the championship. The intensity of the battle causes Tsubasa to start drifting back into his dark self, but the commons he has with Team Garcia may very well give him the edge in the match. Meanwhile Ryuga is pursued by five mysterious guys. He easily uses Meteo L-Drago to dispose of them when another mysterious figure approaches him and causes Ruyga to say he may have just found a worthy opponent.

As the episode ends one team will find themselves down 2-1.
morelessThe team arrives in Brazil where the World Championship Semifinal #1 is scheduled to take place. Kenta appears ready to support the team and brings disturbing data on their opponents- Team Garcia. When Yu learns that Team Garcia didn't use their real strength in the block championship, he sneaks out of the hotel to try and learn what Team Garcia's strategy is. Yu is challenged by the youngest Garcia who hasn't appeared yet in the tournament, but the street battle could end up showing how outmatched Japan is without true knowledge.

Pegasus's speed manages to overcome Gravity Destroyer's Medusa attack (an attack that actually creates its own gravity field on top of the opponents Bey), but Julian manages to block Gingka's special move. As things seem to go against Gan gan Galaxy, Gingka remembers the words of Ryuga- you haven't used Pegasus's full power. Can Gingka find a way to finally master his new bey?

Sophie and Wales come to Julian's rescue and interfere in the match, but before they can destroy Eagle Ryuga himself arrives and begins to fight with L-Drago's new power. L-Drago has lost all the darkness he once had and now holds the power of the stars as Meteo L-Drago. Will it be enough to defeat Sophie and Wales as well as pull Tsubasa out of the darkness?

Determined to save their friend, Yu decides to quit, but Gingka decides they might be able to save Tsubasa if they can find Ryuga and get him to help them. The battle between Excalibur and Wang Hu Zhang begins with a tag battle: Chao Xin & Mei Mei vs. Sophie & Wells.

After losing to Team Excalibur, Team Gan Gan Galaxy decides to focus on teamwork aspects only to learn their best teamwork is having no teamwork. Madoka gets upset until Team Wang Hu Zhong mysteriously appears and agrees to help them with their teamwork while they head for the second round of the Wild Card match. The end reveals that Team Gan Gan Galaxy could be facing the dangerous unknown Team Wild Fang in the third round, and Wild Fang's leader sounds awfully familiar to Gingka.
morelessTeam Gan Gan Galaxy travels to Europe where a gathering of the nation's top Bladers is taking place. They sneak into a sacred blading ceremony to try to learn whom the other members of Team Excalibur are. After being discovered Masamune, Yu, and Gingka challenge various European bladers to matches, but when they start defeating them an even greater challenge rises up that could squash them into nothingness.
morelessMasamune gets on a train headed for the stadium, which makes Yu upset, so Tsubasa decides to let Yu compete in his place in the second match. However Anton has a special dish rigged that cancels out Libra's abilities. Can Yu find enough blader spirit to overcome these odds?

With Masamune lost, Gingka decides he must go first so Masamune will have a chance to get to the stadium before the second or third match. Anton reveals the stadium as a cage stadium, which appears to have the ability to keep Pegasus from soaring high. Will Gingka find a way to give Pegasus more power han ever and allow him to break free of this cage, or is the team in trouble from the get go?

Meanwhile Gan Gan Galaxy stops in Egypt to watch a preliminary match between the UK's Excalibur and Egypt's own Deseret Thunder. When only one of Excalibur's members shows, Deseret Thunder thinks they have an easy win coming, but when Excalibur's member starts to beybattle, he reveals that like Ryuga's L-Drago, his bey is a forbidden bey that can battle in either direction.
