On the scene, when Hilary and Tyson were fighting, they ripped their [English] training chart in half. When you see the torn chart from a farther away angle, you could see that it's still in Japanese.
Ray introduces his new V-series blade, Driger Vulcan, in this episode. But, it's been wrongly called Driger 5, meaning Nelvana was dumb enough to confuse the 'V' as the Roman numeral for 5!
After the sign is ripped, we see later that the rip is in a different place than before.
Hilary: How did they become world champions again?
Max :... Who's she? Tyson : Who her? Don't worry about it, she's nobody. Hilary : Grrr. My name's Hilary, how's it going? Max : Not too bad, I knew you guys would be here, but no one told me there'd be a cute girl waiting for me at the airport. Hilary : Uhhh, who's he again? Kenny : Uhh, don't worry about him, he calls all the girls cute, even the weird ones. Hilary : Oooh I see, WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? Kenny: Uhhh nothing.
Tyson: What? (Growls) Hilary: Let's see a lightning turn then, Mr. Hotshot! Hmm? Tyson: (Growls) I don't have time for this! I'm outta here!
Tyson: Have you completely lost your mind, Hilary? We're the bladebreakers. We're the world champions. We are not doing some training program for beginners. Hilary: Yeah, world champions who can't even make a simple turn!
Hilary: It's your new training schedule, that's what. Ray & Max: Training schedule? Hilary: You can't simply learn a new skill by sitting around all day. You have to start at the beginning with the basic moves, so I developed a training schedule to get you into shape. Well, don't just sit there. Everybody, Let's get started!
Ray: So, what's the big deal? Max: Yeah, it's so early. Tyson: I'm still sleepy. Kenny: This is it. Tyson: Straight moves, left turn, right turn, swollen moves, zigzag moves. What is this?
Hilary: TYSON!! Tyson: Ahh! Hilary: What are you doing, sleeping? Hurry up and get dressed. It's practice time! Tyson: Who made you the boss? It's 6 AM!
Ray: Go, Driger! Huh? What's it doing? Tyson: (Laughing) The Driger 5, eh? Ray: Why is just going in circles? Kenny: It's the magnetic core.
Ray: Now, it's my turn. Kenny: Huh? What is that? That's a new blade. Isn't it, Ray? Ray: It's a Driger 5. An upgrade version of the Driger blade. Let it rip!
Tyson: Let it rip! Kenny: His turn was a bit too wide... Hilary: Tyson, try a sharper, deeper turn this time! Tyson: You got it!
Kai: (Thinking) This isn't getting us anywhere. We need a new plan. That's it. Back to basics.
Grandpa: Uh, no. I was kinda wondering where Hilary was at.
Ray: Why is it just going in circles?
Hilary: (To Tyson) That was a really mean thing to say, Tyson.
Ray: That was a little harsh, dude. Max: Yeah, Ty. She sounded she was pretty hurt. Ray: Mmm-hmm. Tyson: Yeah, well. Don't worry. She'll get over it. It's her fault to butt into our business, anyway.
Tyson: Kai, how'd you-? Kai: I went back to basics.
Hilary: Great work, Kai! Stay focused on it!
Hilary: You stink! Tyson: Well, at least I'm not a – a girl!
