Gingka, Masamune, and Kyoya approach Toby's location, but before they can arrive they encounter Damian. Kyoya challenges Damian to a one-on-one battle and enters into Hades to face Hades: Kerbecs and Cerberus. With his new arrangement Damian appears to have the advantage, but Kyoya's blader spirit won't be denied. As the battle continues the Lion is slowly unleashed, and Cerberus falls for the second consecutive battle.

The group is heading towards the basement when they reach a giant metal door. Kyoya smashes through it, but the group gets separated into two groups: Kyoya, Masamune, and Gingka on one side and Tsubasa, Yu, and Madoka on the other. Tsubasa manages to find a staircase that will take them deep, but instead of going to the Energy Core it takes them to the System Room where Jack is waiting for them. Yu thinks the system is a bed and gets trapped in it. Jack promises to let him out if Tsubasa can beat him. As Tsubasa and Jack battle Jack tries to get into Tsubasa's head and make Tsubasa think they would have lost if Ryuga hadn't come to their rescue. Instead of getting in Tsubasa's head, this motivates him. Tsubasa pushes Eagle to new lmits and defeats Jack. Jack decides to get another arrangement so he can beat Tsubasa, but when he gets to the room he finds out Yu has busted up the arrangement system with Libra. The group heads deeper inside the Energy Spiral while Jack freaks out and weeps.

After battling through some hard walls the group gets outside the Spiral Tower where Julian is the first guard. Sophie and Wells decide to battle Julian while the others head inside to find Toby.

Inside Madoka hacks into the computer system to find where the spiral core's main energy source is coming from, figuring that's where Toby/ Faust would be.

Outside Julian defeats Sophie and Wells. As he turns around to head inside Da Shan stands in his way. Julian reveals he joined Hades because they bought all the Concern Enterprise after julian lost to them. Da Shan says that reason isn't good enough. The two enter into a battle where Da Shan, Soohie, adn Wells give Julian a new goal, building a new Excalibur with the power of his friends. Da Shan defeats Julian but Sophie and Wells are there to help him stand up again. Inside the others race towards the basement and the goal of bringing Toby back.

Ryo forbids Gan Gan Galaxy, Wild Fang, and Wang Hu Zhang from invading Hades City and trying to stop Ziggeraut. However Hikaru points out the WBBA can not do anything unless illegal actions are proven from Ziggeraut, so Ryo finally agrees to allow their invasion. The rest of Team Excalibur arrives and insists on going with them with the goal of stopping Julian.

In Hades City Zeo tries talking with Faust and getting him to remember. Ziggeraut admits he has deleted Zeo and Masamune from Toby's memory. When Zeo tries to get more physical, Ziggeraut throws him into prison.

As the others arrive at Hades City, they are met by Team Garcias. The Garcias get the groups divided up and then try to divide and conquer. Masamune teams with Team Ecalibur in one battle. Team Wang Hu Zhang and Wild Fang face another set of the siblings while Gingka, Hikaru, and Kenta are forced to face the oldest Garcia.

As our heroes start gaining an advantage, Ziggeraut unleashes the spiral force to begin lifting Hades City into space. The pinions manage to keep most of the Bladers behind, but Kyoya, Masamune, Wells, Sophie, and Da Shan Wang get to the city.

When Gingka gets cornered, Madoka arrives with Tsubasa and Yu. The oldest Garcia bro is defeated. With Tsubasa's belt strap, these four manage to become the last four to infiltrate Hades City. However Ziggeraut has Damian, Julian, and Jack ready and waiting.

Team Gan Gan Galaxy invites all the teams to celebrate their win, but only Wang Hu Zhang shows. As they begin to miss Tsubasa and Yu, Ziggeraut decides to crash the party and introduce his new creation to the world, a massive energy producing spiral known as Spiral Force. Zeo and Masamune are shocked to see how Toby has changed into the heartless Faust. Not only that, but Ziggeraut is willing to sell Spiral Force energy to anyone. As Ziggeraut leaves, Team Wang Hu Zhang and Team Gan Gan Galaxy are forced to battle the Garces, Team Excalibur, and Team Star Breakers. When they begin to lose, Team Wild Fang arrives and helps turn the tide. The battle lines are set for the final battle, and only the combined forces of Wang Hu Zhang, Gan Gan Galaxy, and Wild Fang can hope to change end Ziggeraut's scheme.

Pegasus is being engulfed in the flames of Hades, but Gingka manages to use his experience to create a vacuum allowing Pegasus to escape. Damian then pulls Pegasus and Gingka into Hades gate where they faceoff with Cerberus. Gingka once again uses his experience to create a new special move and break free from Hades Gate. Damian learns what true Blader Spirit is as they battle. In the end the two each use their special move one final time. Gingka manages to overpower Hades Gate and wins the championship for Gan Gan Galaxy. Kyoya gets mad about Ryuga being the substitute member but also gets glad that Gingka won since he feels he is the only one who can defeat Gingka. After the battle the scene shifts to Ziggeraut's lab where Toby is trapped in the arrangement system. Ziggeraut arrives to input the data from the World Championship battles knowing it will change the Toby that Zeo and Masamune know and love forever.

While the stadium is repaired before the final battle, Ryo and Hikaru reveal what they learned about HD Academy and Dr. Ziggeraut. Masamune is devastated to learn how he nearly cost Zeo and Toby everything, but it motivates Gingka to show how true bey spiirit and practice prevails. The final battle begins with Gingka knowing the only record for Damian is his undefeated record in the tourney. He also knows HD Academy has ties to the Dark Nebula, but everything Pegasus throws at Hades Kerbecs is repelled. Can Gingka find a way to reverse fate before it's too late?

Down 1-0 and with Masamune hurt means Gingka must face both Jack and Damian. Unbeknownst to them though, Jack sees a mysterious white cloud shaped like a Dragon headed for the stadium and he feels uncomfortable with it. As the second round is announced a flaming meteor drops from the sky, and out steps Ryuga. Hikaru begins to freak out until she realizes that Ryuga has overcome the darkness. Ryuga says he came to accept Jack's promise of a match once his blade was completed. Ziggeraut is thrilled that he can have the chance to collect L-Drago's data and accepts the challenge. As first Befall seems to have the advantage, but L-Drago is actually absorbing all Befall's power. Realizing he's been setup, Befall starts carving up the stadium in the shape of a peacock. He places L-Drago as the eye and gets ready to finish Ryuga off. Just then Ryuga reveals he's been setting Jack up this entire time. Ryuga unleashes Befall's power against Befall and turns Befall into the eye of the peacock. Since it is an official match, Gan Gan Galaxy and Team Star Breaker are tied 1-1. Gingka and Damian will be the deciding match. Ziggeraut is thrilled to have all of L-Drago's data until an energy blast flies out of the top of L-Drago, cuts through the window, and slices Ziggeraut's cheek. Ryuga reveals he hasn't used all his power yet. As he walks off he grabs Gingka and says he won't let Gingka lose to fake bladers.

The finals between Team Star Breaker and Team Gan gan Galaxy begin. After failing his download, Ziggeraut tells Zeo if Toby losses, his treatment will be discontinued. Zeo and Masamune battle it out. Zeo uses the magnetic forces of Byxis to give Striker a terrible time until Gingka realizes Byxis is vulnerable from the air. Masamune cals out Striker's special move and hits Byxis from above. When Zeo realizes he's about to lose, his mind goes crazy and a terrible magnetic surge errupts from Byxis. The magnetic surge knocks out Masamune and Striker both giving Star Breaker a 1-0 lead in the finals.

Team Gan Gan Galaxy is approved to find and use an alternate member for the championship against Star Breaker. Kenta volunteers to do it, but then Wang Hu Zhang shows up. The 5 agree to have a battle royale to determine who should be Gan Gan Galaxy's alternate. During the battle Gingka and Masamune get so excited they decide to participate. After both launch their blades, Phoenix appears and knocks out all 7 blades simultaneously. He announces that he is Gan gan galaxy's alternate only to have Hikaru walk behind him. Hikaru begins to quote the rule book and rules out Ryo for two reasons. 1) He's an adult and 2) He's a board member for the BBA. She also rules out the other fives saying the alternate cannot have participated in any rounds of BBA battling, including qualifying. Gingka and Masamune decide to go at it alone when Blader DJ appears and announces he's the last hope for Team japan. The kids think he's talking about being a team member, which he can't do because he's an adult, until American DJ also appears. American DJ and Blader DJ have a beybatle to determine who will announce the finals. The kids are excited for the battle when they see the rare beys the two DJ's have, but when the DJ's launch their launches are so weak everyone else tries to hide from embarrassment. The two have a DJ announcing war while their beys collide. When the beys stop simultaneously, both DJ's come up with the idea of tag teaming the championship round together, setting the stage for the finals.

With Excalibur down 1-0, Julian Concern steps out to battle Team Star Breaker's Damian. Damian proposes a best of 3 match between the two so he can face both a red and left rotating blade. Julian accepts and the battle begins. Julian quickly reveals he has gotten stronger and begins launching gravity arrows at Hades: Kerbecs. Hades: Kerbecs finally takes one head on. Gravity Destroyer has no effect on Hades: Kerbecs, who then unleashes the flames of Hades to win the first match. The two begin a second match, this time with Destroyer rotating left. destroyer unleashes his gravity arrows again, but this time then become multiple gravity vortexes on the arena floor. Hades: Kerbecs summons the gate of Hades, and Cerberus appears inside. Sophie and Wells rush to their leaders side and launch their beys, disqualifying Team Excalibur but determinde to keep Julian from going insane. Hades: Kerbecs knocks out all 3 Beys simultaneously with the power of Cerberus and the Hades gate. Team Star Breaker advances to face Gan Gan galaxy.

Jack's Beyblade, Evil Befall, is completed by HD Academy just in time for the second semifinal to begin. Jack goes first against Damian and his Ram Capricorn, but the ability of Befall to cut into any surface may prove to be too much for the Europeans. Meanwhile Team Gan Gan Galaxy seeks permission to have a supplemental member placed on their team in place of the injured Tsubasa and Yu. Gingka is against the idea, but his father worries how much power Team Starbreaker will have if they don't establish such.

Dr. Ziggeraut uses his arrangement system to program Zeo with data on Team Excalibur to get them ready for the next battle. After failing to adapt fully to the program, Zeo is sent after Ryuga with a time limit of bringing him back before Damian's arrangement system download is completed. Meanwhile Madoka finishes repairs to Eagle and Libra. While trying to test the repaired Eagle and Libra, Gingka and Masamune get distracted by Zeo pursuing Ryuga. Zeo ends up revealing his hatred for Masamune leading to a battle. Damian's arrangement finishes and Ziggeraut sends him out to retrieve Ryuga as well. Instead of running into Ryuga, Damian runs into Yu and Tsubasa and decides to test his Hades: Kerbecs blade on the newly repaired Eagle and Libra. Masamune, Gingka, and Zeo get distracted by the appearance on Hades: Kerbecs. Zeo returns to HD Academy knowing his time has run out while Gingka runs to find his friends badly hurt and their blades fully destroyed.

While Gingka and his friends have another day of practice, Ryuga is doing battle with Zeo at the HD Academy. When Ruga defeats Zeo, Dr. Zigguraut reveals himself to Ryuga and reveals he was the head of Doji and the Dark Nebula. As Zigguraut reveals his plans with Ryuga and the Attach System, Ryuga blows his temper and blows up part of the HD Academy so he can leave.

Gan Gan Galaxy arrives in America where Masamune runs off to visit his old friend Toby. When he arrives at the hospital Toby is no longer present. While sightseeing Gingka and the others run into Masamune, who tries to leave and darts off to his old training area- Dungeon Gym. Gingka and the others follow him and learn about Masamune's past. As masamune gets ready to leave and track down Zeo and the HD Academy Zeo shows up at Dungeon Gym. Zeo gives Masamune the location where Toby is staying, but then he challenges Masamune to a beybattle. They go to a neutral bey arena where the two battle with all their hearts but stop before their special moves can be launched knowing that Toby needs to be present to watch the final blows. As Masamune and the rest of Gan Gan Galaxy head back to Dungeon Gym, Zeo is found saying he will never forgive Masamune. Why does Zeo have such a hatred for Masamune, his old friend? What is causing Toby's illness?

After Argo pulls off a sneak attack on Pegasus, the match is evened up 3-3 leaving Argo and Tsubasa to battle it out for the right to advance to the championship. The intensity of the battle causes Tsubasa to start drifting back into his dark self, but the commons he has with Team Garcia may very well give him the edge in the match. Meanwhile Ryuga is pursued by five mysterious guys. He easily uses Meteo L-Drago to dispose of them when another mysterious figure approaches him and causes Ruyga to say he may have just found a worthy opponent.

Selen and Ray Gasher attempt to drain Gingka's Pegasus by running away. Selen has never been defeated in a battle royal because she runs away from the opponent. Ian then enters the bey arena to battle Pegasus in a cyclone battle. Can Gingka survive both opponents and find a way to get to Argo?

Team Garcia and Team Gan Gan Galaxy begin their match. Team Garcia proposes a 4-on-4 elimination battle knowing that Libra is damaged and could be destroyed if Gan Gan Galaxy accepts. Yu accepts for the team and insists on going first too teach Team Garcia what the spirit of battle truly is. When Yu loses and Libra is destroyed, Masamune jumps in as the second representative. As the episode ends one team will find themselves down 2-1.

The team arrives in Brazil where the World Championship Semifinal #1 is scheduled to take place. Kenta appears ready to support the team and brings disturbing data on their opponents- Team Garcia. When Yu learns that Team Garcia didn't use their real strength in the block championship, he sneaks out of the hotel to try and learn what Team Garcia's strategy is. Yu is challenged by the youngest Garcia who hasn't appeared yet in the tournament, but the street battle could end up showing how outmatched Japan is without true knowledge.

The conclusion of the A-Block takes place as Gingka battles Julian Concern. Pegasus's speed manages to overcome Gravity Destroyer's Medusa attack (an attack that actually creates its own gravity field on top of the opponents Bey), but Julian manages to block Gingka's special move. As things seem to go against Gan gan Galaxy, Gingka remembers the words of Ryuga- you haven't used Pegasus's full power. Can Gingka find a way to finally master his new bey?

Down 1-0 Team Gan Gan Galaxy sends out Yu and Tsubasa to battle Sophie and Wales in the tag battle. The dark power begins to overpower Tsubasa, but Yu runs into him and begins to make Tsubasa remember his own childhood and how darkness and light can be combined to form one power. Tsubasa overcomes the darkness and unleashes a new special move, but will it be enough to overcome this powerful duo? Meanwhile Ryuga continues his battle with Gingka. Meteo L-Drago absorbs much of Pegasus' power, but what haunts Gingka even more is Ryuga's words, you have yet to master your new Pegasus. Can Gingka find a way to unleash all of Pegasus' power?

Team Gan Gan Galaxy arrives in Italy. After receiving the battle order they must decide what to do if Tsubasa doesn't show. On the way to the battle Tsubasa and Ryuga appear. Ryuga challenges Gingka while the others head to the arena. With no real battle order being set Masamune decides to go first and battle Concern, but will it be Striker or Capricorn that exceeds their limits and puts their team up 1-0?

Gingka and friends search for Tsubasa and are unable to find him. Ryo says they have to head for Europe, and if they're lucky, Tsubasa will be found before the match begins. Meanwhile Tsubasa is already in Europe, and he uses the dark power to challenge Julian to a match. Sophie and Wales come to Julian's rescue and interfere in the match, but before they can destroy Eagle Ryuga himself arrives and begins to fight with L-Drago's new power. L-Drago has lost all the darkness he once had and now holds the power of the stars as Meteo L-Drago. Will it be enough to defeat Sophie and Wales as well as pull Tsubasa out of the darkness?

Team Wang Hu Zhang battles Team Excalibur for the right to advance to the finals. Yu declares that Excalibur will win, but this only causes Wang Hu Zhang to have more confidence. Meanwhile Ryo declares that Tsubasa is unfit to compete and Yu must find a replace him because Tsubasa has been possessed by the Dark Power of L-Drago. Determined to save their friend, Yu decides to quit, but Gingka decides they might be able to save Tsubasa if they can find Ryuga and get him to help them. The battle between Excalibur and Wang Hu Zhang begins with a tag battle: Chao Xin & Mei Mei vs. Sophie & Wells.

After Tsubasa's win, Team Wild Fang and Team Gang Gang Galaxy find themselves even at 1-1-1. In order for the finalist to be decided, the WBBA decides another Team Battle should take place. Both Gingka and Kyoya try to overcome their injuries so they can participate in the final, but with Tsubasa in the hospital and with Yu and Gingka both hurt, does Japan truly have any chance of winning?

Benkei's identity is revealed during the pre-match press conference, but he denies his identity. Matches between Gingka and Kyoya and Masamune and Nile are set up during the pre-match press conference causing Tsubasa to contemplate how he will blade should he have to participate in the third match. The battle between Nile's Vulcan Horuseus and Masamune's Volt Striker takes place.

The news that Kyoya is the leader of team Wild Fang has risen the Beyblading Championships to a new level. As Team Gan Gan Galaxy prepares to watch India vs. Africa live, the match is also being broadcast live to Japan for Kyoya fans. Team Wild Fang's super sub (The Masked Bull- AKA Benkei) introduces the team, but Gingka and company realize that Kyoya is holding something back. With Nile and Kyoya having gone undefeated, Team Gan Gan Galaxy must evaluate the best possible matches for the Group A Quarterfinals.

After losing to Team Excalibur, Team Gan Gan Galaxy decides to focus on teamwork aspects only to learn their best teamwork is having no teamwork. Madoka gets upset until Team Wang Hu Zhong mysteriously appears and agrees to help them with their teamwork while they head for the second round of the Wild Card match. The end reveals that Team Gan Gan Galaxy could be facing the dangerous unknown Team Wild Fang in the third round, and Wild Fang's leader sounds awfully familiar to Gingka.

Team Gan Gan Galaxy travels to Europe where a gathering of the nation's top Bladers is taking place. They sneak into a sacred blading ceremony to try to learn whom the other members of Team Excalibur are. After being discovered Masamune, Yu, and Gingka challenge various European bladers to matches, but when they start defeating them an even greater challenge rises up that could squash them into nothingness.

Anton decides to spy on Gan gan Galaxy so his team will have an advantage in the upcoming matches. With Masamune lost, Gingka decides he must go first so Masamune will have a chance to get to the stadium before the second or third match. Anton reveals the stadium as a cage stadium, which appears to have the ability to keep Pegasus from soaring high. Will Gingka find a way to give Pegasus more power han ever and allow him to break free of this cage, or is the team in trouble from the get go?

Team Gan Gan Galaxy boards a train to head to their matches in Russia where they are approached by 3 mysterious kids. The 3 kids are actually members of Russia's team: team Luvushka's. They desire to steal Gan Gan galaxy's data from Madoka, but the man behind them, Anton, desires to keep Gingka out of the competition at all costs. What tricks will they use to meet their goals?

Benkei leaves Japan determined to join one of the competing teams after seeing Gan Gan Galaxy's first match. Meanwhile Gan Gan Galaxy stops in Egypt to watch a preliminary match between the UK's Excalibur and Egypt's own Deseret Thunder. When only one of Excalibur's members shows, Deseret Thunder thinks they have an easy win coming, but when Excalibur's member starts to beybattle, he reveals that like Ryuga's L-Drago, his bey is a forbidden bey that can battle in either direction.
