Dawn walks out on WaveSync, still upset that she was not sent to Fiji, which has repercussions she never saw coming. Patty (Lacey's mom) makes a big decision that impacts Lacey.
  • Patty leaves to try to live with herself for a while; Kai leaves for Fiji; Dawn leaves WaveSync.

This episode was so amazing. It was so fun to watch as well. The writers of Beyond The Break are very talented. They definitely know how to write a good script. It was just so well written and dramatic. I can not believe Dawn is leaving WaveSync. Pat finally left. Kai finally left for Fiji. I think the only thing that makes this series a little bad are those Island Sage shorts. Sage is so annoying. They should have her eaten by a shark or something. But the future of WaveSync seems very unclear. This episode is a series classic, in my opinion.moreless
  • Kai goes to Figi

I don't know if I can say the episode was intense or interesting. It was more of a filler episode to continue the story. I think Dawn is really annoying and it shows more in this episode because I think it's lame for her to be so drastic over Kai taking her spot. I mean yeah she has her points but what gives her a reason to be such an immature itch? It's not like she owns the whole surfing world and it's not like she won't have other chances. I don't know but the whole Lacey's mom storyline seemed pointless but I guess they just wanted to finish off where it left off so it made sense. Glad she made the right decision of going to Venice to live on her own. Kai and Vin were so cute in this episode but the previews they showed with Kai and some other guy pisses me off. I hope they are not planning on ruining Kai and Vin I really don't want him running back to Lacey. They do not look good together.moreless

I'm glad Lacey is staying in WaveSync... even though her mom is in hell with her life, doesn't mean she has to drag her daughter down with her. That was really big of her to go to Richard and say that to him about her mom, even though her mom's done alot of unmotherly things, she still has that big heart of hers to accept it all.

Kai, well... I wasn't really keen on Kai that much to begin with but I'm starting to warm up to her... I'm glad she went to Fiji and that she's also working it over there.

Dawn, okay... Dawn needs to step down from her high horse and starts recognizing the fact that she's been trying to run from her father's name all this time, yet his money is still good to her... what do you call that? If she's been trying to get away from her daddy's shadow... that means get away from anything that has to do with him... I guess in her case, money doesn't count.

All in all... I give this episode a 8.5 b/c although I haven't read any spoilers or anything on it... it was still a little predictable for me... imo of course! :)moreless
