Big & Small is a television show that depicts the lives of two puppets. The puppet friends are aptly named Big and Small. Big, a soft and gentle creature of considerable size, and Small, a small, vivacious creature who is always on the go learn life lessons about social interaction that are aimed towards the preschool and small youth demographic of the show. Big and Small learn lessons such as the importance of sharing, the value of the feelings of others, and the importance of accepting those who are different from yourself through minor conflicts and resolutions with one another. The show is also well-known for its inclusion of a song in every episode. Most of the featured songs include Big, Small and their assorted puppet friends singing about themes that are similar to the central lesson of the episode. The singing sequences use special computer-animation technology to allow the puppets an extended range of motion for an interesting visual effect.moreless
