Ashley and John escorted from House

    Big
Brother Housemates Ashley and John were escorted from the House this
afternoon following a breach of the rules. The producers Endemol
Southern Star and Network Ten deemed their actions were grounds for
their removal from the show. The producers will not be commenting any
    further on this serious matter.

In a joint statement made shortly after they left the House, Ashley and
John said: "We had a great time in the house. It is unfortunate it had
to end this way, but Big Brother has rules and regulations and we broke
    them.

“We are all very close in the house and we would never do anything to offend our fellow housemates."

    -----

Basically, what happened last night (or in the early hours of this morning) the HMs were stuffing around in the bedroom. It got extremely out of line however when John held Camilla in place on one of the beds and Ashley slapped her with his penis. They were both called into the Diary Room this afternoon and the above notice has now appeared on the official site.

This is rubbish! This was not an assault! I am sick to death of this pro conservative crap that politicians are pressuring networks to broadcast or not broadcast. They are trying to ban the tv show via parliament and have been doing so since the show came on air. I reckon the old biddies and geezers that find themselves rowing in our very own green coloured preschool of representatives, should get the cob-webs out of their undies and go out with a bunch of young people of today. Perhaps they missed "the real cancun" and didn't know what the people deem as appropriate fun social conduct! Well, to them i say: blockbuster, arthouse, $3... The real cancun.. its a hoot(ers)!

Camilla loved it! Has she made a complaint?

How do you know that she loved it? According to the people who watched it on the live streams, Camilla responded to what happened by turning away and quitely saying "that't not cool". You yourself have been criticising Camilla for complaining too much, so surely you'd agree that something that literally shut her up must have bothered her.

No, the victim does NOT have to complain for it to count as sexual harrassment. The difference between what happened here and the examples you gave is that it was done against Camilla's will; she did not give consent and she was held down as it happened. If you had one of your mates hold your wife down while you pinched and groped her, then yes, it would be within their rights for someone who saw it to file a complaint. And it would be up to your wife as to whether or not to press charges.

Camilla was forcibly violated by the boys, who had obviously had a little too much to drink and didn't know when to stop. The decision to remove Ash & John from the house had nothing to do with any politicians. It was made by the BB Producers and supported by Channel 10.

Don't adopt the rapist mentality - the idea that if someone is so willing to flaunt their sexuality, then they deserve what they get.

That's pretty much what i was going to say only more articulate lol. That sucks but they get what they deserve and i thought it was classy how they admitted what they done was wrong. Whether Camilla liked it or not, it doesn't matter, she was still violated...

I've posted a further update on the situation in the show's blog. You can read it either on the summary page or by clicking on the "blog" link near the top of this page.

How do u know she was forcably violated? If someone touches me on the shoulder to get me to turn around so they can ask me the time... i could say the same thing.. i was forcably violated. However, in the context of the situation and the demeaner of myself, i would not (and it would not generally so) be considered offensive. Yet it is inappropriate behaviour to be politically correct.

In the context of the situation, and as stated by Camilla, it was not offensive.

The issue was forced by the producers and the owners for political reasons. According to the Australian Media Watch, the issuse has been addressed in Parliament by senator Coonan specifically about big brother for moralistic reasons pertaining to swearing and nudity and other behaviours. The thing is, the behaviours she talks about are everyday behaviours... what a weird world we live in.

John and Ash are the fall guys to exemplify this. And like was said above, there have been worse things (if this can at all be seen on a worse typed scale - i reckon it shouldn't be).

The only reason the 2 michaels admitted to it as being not acceptable IMHO is because big brother helped push the issue to keep his/the show on television. That show rakes in millions! Ziff the owners want to lose their show and its benifits.

The network and Big Brother are dealing with this issue seriously because if they don't the show could come to an end, just like Adults Only.

Big Brother had every right to remove them from the house. They breeched one of the Big Brother rules and they should be punished. I do however feel sorry for Camilla and for the parents of both John and Ashley.

I am a massive Big Brother fan and when i say massive, i mean massive, but i do believe that Big Brother should should finish it's run on the ten network as soon as possible.

Ohh and on more thing: There is NO way in the world the show will return next year. Sad to hear...

why not feel sorry for John and Ash? They r the ones copping a raw deal. They are being used for political reasons to bring big brother-typed shows to an end. BB and the 10 network is being houded by political pressure to cap down on what they call breeches of the broadcasting rules by allowing nudity and swearing etc on air. The conservatives don't want this for some stupid reason. And are continuing to kill everyone's freedom.

If they are going to get rid of ash and john, then get rid of every HM that laid a finger on one another without askign first.

Like i said: in the context of the situation.

I feel sooooooooo sorty for Jamie! 2 weeks ago he lost his girlfriend and this weekend he lost his 3 friends in the house: Gaelen, Ashley and John! Now Galen has to live with Camilla, Perry and Darren who he hates! At least he has Claire and Krystal!

This season has come to a bad end! I want Camilla to win which she will but now that Ash and John are out there is no more fun in the house. Can someone tell me which show the incident was showed in. I now that the actual incident wasnt showed but when was Ash and john being kicked out shown?

    I am so sad....!
