Big Brother 11 - Eviction #6 (Chima Expulsion); HoH Competition #7; Nomination Ceremony #7

Season 11, Episode 18, Aired

Episode Recap

After the usual recaps, the HouseGuests react to Michele's nominations. The two sides were clearly split and one side (Jordan, Jeff, Russell and Michele) was happy and the other side (Natalie, Lydia, Kevin, Chima) were not at all happy. In the bedroom, Chima mentioned that she was going to quit as she felt "stabbed in the back" by Michele and she did not want to give them the satisfaction of voting her out.

In the backyard, a putting green was set up for the HouseGuests to practice for the upcoming veto competition. Chima was not initially out there practicing so Kevin got her out of the bed. Chima walked outside and "Big Brother" told Chima to "please put on your microphone." She said she did not care. "Big Brother" repeated this request. Cut to a montage of Chima "breaking the rules." Kevin actually got a microphone for Chima, gave it to her, and Chima threw it in the hot tub immediately.

Later that night, "Big Brother" orders Chima to exchange her microphone for one in the storage room. Chima refused and Kevin, again, went to get it for her, but Chima took it off just as soon as she put it back on.

Even later, back in the red bedroom, Chima was called to the diary room, but refused to go and said that she would continue to cause havoc in the house over the course of the week. "Big Brother" called for Chima again and she refused again stating that she wanted to see "their" faces. Allison Grodner, executive producer of Big Brother, came over the intercom and said that Chima "needed to come to the diary room now." Chima walks into the diary room and was told to not sit down but instead to just "continue out this way."

After the commercial break, Kevin, Lydia and Natalie wondered what was happening with Chima. Over the intercom, Allison called the HouseGuests to the living room. Allison proceeded to tell the HouseGuests that Chima destroyed her microphone, did not follow the rules, including the destruction of production equipment. So, Chima was expelled from the Big Brother house. An announcement was to be made later as to how the expulsion would effect nominations.

One side, including Jeff and Michele, were upset how "the other side" reacted following Jessie's eviction and the way in which Jeff used the Coup d'Etat. They said that "the other side" should have treated everyone in the game with respect and dignity.

The unhappy side, especially Natalie, was upset about Chima's explusion and had to be calmed down by Lydia. Natalie said the only reason she was staying in the game was to vindicate the loss of Chima.

After the break, Michele read a cue card and said that since one of her nominees was no longer in the house, her duties as Head of Household were now over and that Natalie could come off the block. She then said that a new Head of Household competition would be held and she would not be eligible to compete.

The backyard was decorated as a country club and the HouseGuests were dressed as golfers. The players had to putt a golf ball into a hole and if the ball went beyond the hole would be sucked into a windmill with various point values spinning around. The golfer with the highest score after each round would be eliminated.

Lydia was the first eliminated and claimed the HoH key. Natalie was eliminated next and claimed a trip to Hawaii. Russell was eliminated next and won a phone call from home but traded Natalie for the Hawaiian vacation. Kevin was eliminated next and claimed $5,000. (At this point Jeff and Lydia got in a shouting match.) Jeff was eliminated (on purpose) and claimed a massage experience but traded Russell for the Hawaiian vacation. So, Jordan "won" and claimed a costume, "Captain Unitard", and traded Lydia for the HoH key and became the new HoH (solely to Jeff's throwing the competition at the very end.) Lydia again yelled at Jeff and Jordan.

After the break, Jordan and Michele were talking about the game and told Lydia to wear the unitard. Lydia then ran to the kitchen, emptied out two of Michele's beers and then threw away some sushi (presumably claimed by Michele). Back in the bedroom, Lydia, Jeff and Jordan were fighting about how "they" screwed over Jessie by using the power. Lydia called Jeff out into the diary room and wanted him to talk to him there. After Lydia left the bedroom, Jeff told Kevin and Natalie to talk to their friend about how to act and get her under control. Natalie and Kevin simply said they could not control Lydia as she was her own person. Jeff said they better talk to her as it would be better if they did it than if he had to talk to her.

We then saw Jordan's Head of Household room. Everyone was up there except Lydia.

Then we saw a montage of Lydia in her "Captain Unitard" outfit.

Finally, the nomination ceremony was held. In the end, Lydia and Natalie were nominated. Jordan said her target was Lydia.
