  • So far so-so!

So far, it is off to a so-so start but it is so early to judge people yet. So I need to take a better look in the next few episodes. But then again we have all summer to do that now don't we. We have a former gay male couple, former best friends, and an estranged dad and daughter. Those are the twists in the show so far.
  • A Great Show

This looks like it will shape up to be a great season of big brother. Enemies are a great addition and I'm sure we will be in store for some more exciting plot twists. For all you who consistantly diss the show, you have a remote control and a thing called free will, so use it and shut up.
  • House Guest Introduced. Three sets of enemy's. America's Player. Kail wins HOH

The pilot of season 8 introduced us to the new season and the new people. Overall it was a good first episode. It is a different cast than the previous season in that the people are younger. First impression was there seems to be more dumber people than usual. There is some hot girls on this season, hottest girls on any of the previous seasons. Jen, Jessica, Carol, and Daniele are all smokin hot. They also introduce America's Player which is an interesting concept. The player Eric who is the short guy with nipple rings, do not know what to think of him yet. My favorite right now would have to be Evil Dick and my least favorite would be Joe who is already on my nerves. This looks like another great season of big brother
  • Fine Example of TRASH!!

One can only hope after watching this premiere episode of season 8 that CBS will finally wake up and realize that Big Brother jumped the shark long ago and put this show out of our misery. It is hard enough having an anorexic Julie Chen's face on my TV but now producers have to come up with one of the worst twists I have ever seen. We are going to lock you up in a house with your worst enemy! Maybe if CBS renews this show for another year (big mistake) we can lock the house guests up with some death row inmates! It might just be more exciting than what we are in store for this year.
  • I watched the first episode for yet another season of big brother, and this one seemed really weak compared to the others.

    "Mediocre"
The people in the house seemed moer annoying than past episodes and also majority of them seem to lack character. In previous seasons they had unique people like chicken george, Will, and Kaysar... this season they lack something that gives dimesnion. As the season have gone on, it seems more and more like it is being scripted. I think that CBS needs to try and fix this situation or its going to be lackluster results.
  • To early to judge the players yet, but the production seems a bit off.

So, it's only the first episode of the season and it's way to early to start commenting on them. But the show's production seems to be down a bit.

Julie is still herself, a robot. It's been commented on many times before and I guess somethings never change. But some of the editing was a bit..... "sharp"? The first ep just didn't flow very well to me and I felt that I could get into the timing of show? (How long were those three up there? How long was the HOH? A day? When did they do the diary parts?) Just felt all over to me.

As for the twists... eh? I'm still AMAZED that they can find people to be in the show that knew each other before hand. How can it be possible that they both applied and the producers connected the dots!?! The must have had someone else dropping hints or something. I love to see a behind the scenes on this.

And the America's Player? I like the idea right now. Not sure of the exact rules or how it all works right now, but it gives a fresh feel to the show (and is a lot better than the twin thing from a few seasons ago).

In the end... it's an OK show. I hope production picks up and smooths out some of the choppyness. Hope they picked some good players.
