    Fellow Big Brother fans:

I have gotten about 10 complaints from users who frequent this forum about several other disruptive posters. I felt that it was time to step in and clean up the board. I've already deleted a few topics and am willing to delete a few more, but I'd appreciate a PM as to what topics are offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

    Here are the rules:

    1. Please discuss the live feeds and After Dark episodes ONLY in their respective sticky topics at the top of the forum.

    2. If you do want to create a spoiler thread, please bold the topic and make sure the word "SPOILER" is in the title. Personally, I do not like to read spoilers and I know there are many others out there too. Please be respectful.

    3. Do NOT use crude, vulgar or language you would not use in front of your parents--there are children reading this forum.

    4. If anyone reports an offending thread to me, the offending thread will be deleted immediately.

    5. I reserve the right to add more rules as I think of them.

BOTTOMLINE - Do not do anything stupid. Enjoy the board and keep the chat related to Big Brother.

I do not know who reported whomever to the TV.com moderators. It was not me. But, thank you all for your feedback. Please let me know if there are any other additions or rule changes you'd like to see implemented.

    All the best,
    ama

Wow, I just got 3 warnings for posting on the Big Brother board. I have a feeling at least 2 of those were because people mistook the impersonator for me. C'mon, 3 warnings when trolls have been polluting the board can't be a coincidence.

I don't understand # 3? If we report something offensive we will be deleted? I want to make sure I follow the rules.

I think it's a typo. I think it's the thread that will be deleted.

Amauriel, thanks so much. You're a hero!

I was pretty much assuming that but learned along time ago that assuming can get me into trouble!

Well I have something to add. SOmeone in this very thread is accusing me of having involvement in what went on during the weekend. I had nothing to do with any of that, I am not a troll, and this is the only account that I have. I have done nothing wrong on this board this season, I have only been posting messages for the last week. I have always learned in life the ones who are first to accuse are in fact the ones guilty.

How about a live feed update thread and a live feed/BBAD discussion thread both stickied? That way, you can contain the spoilers without cluttering them.

I suggested having people with spoiler bold them. That way they stick out and people who only want spoilers can look at those posts.

Having one thread for each houseguest would be nice, instead of seeing several Natalie/James is great/sucks every two topics.

    I like Sakya's idea.
And maybe just a houseguest discussion thread for all of them. One for each is a lot

Actually, a thread for each houseguest is a good idea, because that makes it easier to be more relevant.

I guess it's safe to just NOT make any new threads up, right? I really like to do that if I have a point, ergo, I'm guilty of "cluttering up the board". Sometimes I have questions that don't seem to fit anywhere. eesh, I'll stick to what's up.

That should be okay. The problem is just that we have a dozen threads on the exact same topic.

We need a general question thread

I suggested the spoilers only and spoiler discussion thread b/c I saw it work on another forum and really enjoy it. I don't think it's popular but maybe your bold idea will work. As for the houseguest general thread, that makes sense. I tried making weekly discussion threads but people didn't seem to stick to them so I gave up. A general questions thread would be great.

I have an idea. How about we don't post about anything at all. That way the great, wonderful people who feel they own this board won't be bothered with what they feel is repeptive posts.

Oh and I am not trying to be rude, just trying to offer up a solution.

    Interesting. This might catch on.
