To be honest i absolutely hate big brother. It gets on my nerves and is a complete waste of time. But on the other hand, BBLB i absolute love! its funny,amusing, and is much more entertaining than big brother. now dont get me wrong, its not my absolute favorite show, and it does have some down points, but if i had to chose between it and Big Brother, i would chose it any day.so over all i feel that big brother is a stupid programme that i wouldnt watch in a million years, but Big Brothers Little Brother is better and more interesting by far

The show included all the latest Big Brother news and exclusive clips from housemates before they entered the house. It was the longest running spin-off of the main show.
The series had alot of recurring items that appeared in different formats, series by series. A recap of the days happenings opened each episode and aired under the title of BBLB News (previously BBLB Hot News & Weather, BBLB News 25) and at the end of each episode until the last series, the host(s) often sat with the episodes guests and looks over the coverage in the press in BBLB Review, this was previously called Call BBLB, were live calls and emails would be asked to that episodes guests and the BBLB Forum which worked in the same way, however took place only over the internet were viewers would pose their questions in a moderated forum and was also known as Little Brother's Big Answer, were a direct behind the scenes question would be answered on behalf of a viewer.
The show was represented in the media by a eye, which is different for each series, often trying to incorporate a theme for the series. These were often released before the show actually begins and are also used in the opening titles of the show. The theme tune by Paul Oakenfold and Andy Gray is released under 'Big Brother Theme' by Element Four - tweaks were made to the theme used throughout each series. The set also changed from series to series.
The show was previously hosted by Dermot O'Leary, for the first twelve series (who was also a Assistant Producer by the time he left the show). Natalie Casey also co-hosted for the first week of the first series.
When Dermot left, rumours circulated about who would be taking his place on the show, it was eventually announced that George Lamb and Zezi Ifore would be co-presenters on the next series. Zezi wasn't popular at all with the viewers and the show became criticised heavily over her poor presenting skills. She was gradually demoted to a roving reporter role, until she was completely axed in between Big Brother 9 and Celebrity Big Brother 6. Throughout the series in which George and Zezi presented, certain episodes starting airing for an hour instead of the half an hour they were billed for, these extended episodes continued in Series 14 and 15, however the episodes were publicised as airing for an hour. Throughout series 14, ex-celebrity housemate Michael Barrymore took on the role of roving reporter. Whilst in the shows last two series, series 17 and 18, Emma Willis co-hosted alongside George.
The show itself has not only ran through the main Big Brother series (from series two onwards), but also the Celebrity and Celebrity Hijack series as well as the final Ultimate series. (With the exception of the first 'Celebrity' series due to it been simulcast on the BBC.) The show's title is often abbreviated to BBLB. Or throughout the Celebrity Big Brother series, CBBLB.
After an eviction, the housemate(s) evicted from the Big Brother house, traditionally spent their first week out of the house as a guest on Big Brother's Little Brother. This changed from series 13, as the housemate tended to only appear once or twice throughout the week. The show also boasted celebrity guests and experts who come in to discuss and analyse the events occuring in the Big Brother house. Other ex-housemates from previous series often returned in recurring features, series by series as well.
When the show first began it aired on weeknights on Channel 4 from 6pm it has also had brief stints in the 6.30pm and 5.30pm timeslots. It was also rebranded as Big Brother's Little Breakfast (Alongside Celebrity Big Brother 4-Series 8), were it moved to 8am. IT REMAINS ONE OF THE LONGEST RUNNING REALITY SHOWS AND HAS BEEN BROADCAST IN OVER 50 COUNTRIES, BUT BIG BROTHER HAS FINALLY BEEN EVICTED AND NO ONE REALLY SEEMS THAT BOTHERED.
