I like how they are bringing in a new wife I just wish that she would speak up some more. I can't believe that the daughter is prego that's super crazy, and I dont understand why she would run the boy off in the process. I thin the whole thing with his mother and keeping his father capture it crazy funny those two have the funniest disfunctional relationship ever. I dont like the new uncle brother guy he is too weird looking, and he gives me the creeps. I am getting irritated with nicky why does she always have to be so crazy about things.moreless

An episode even better than the premiere. I didn't think that would be possible but I have a very good feeling about this season with the introduction of new story arcs, and I'm absolutely hooked on Big Love. It's no wonder Big Love is the most addicting show on television with these intriguing arcs and story lines, that just entice you to tune in the following week. I've come to like all of the characters and I really think the writers are genius with these story lines. Sarah being pregnant with Scott's baby? That was unexpected. Frankie staying with Rhonda, I love how she was brought up again and I'm anticipated for her return. Nikki taking birth control pills to avoid having a baby.

The family dating Ana, Barb waiting for her results on whether or not the cancer is back. There is a lot of things going on for Big Love, and I just love every single story line. Looking forward for episodes to come. Season 3 is promising.moreless

My second Big Love episode and almost as good as Season 3 Episode 1. The show continues to just provide riveting drama and the ability to get you to feel the struggles of the Henrickson family in just a 58 minute time span. I did not know just how good this show could be but when I saw it nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series among the likes of Lost, House, Dexter and Damages I just had to check it out and I have yet to be disappointed. Big Love is definitely one of HBO's finest series and more people need to check this out.moreless
  • Big gamble!

Let's get this casino off the ground before Roman starts dragging everybody down. Bill fights for the chance to build his Indian Casino and his partner Don is flaking out. His partner Don lost not only two wives but the children as well, but this may turn out to be a plus when seeking a loan.

Albe is crooked and Bill's mom is a tough old bird. Just ask Bill's tied up and duct-taped Dad.

Barb is healthy, Nikki is healthy (she just doesn't want any more children at this point) and Margine get diahrea of the mouth, but that helps Bill land the casino deal.

And on top of this, someone might be pregnant. A book shown at the end of the episode points in that direction.

If this review seems like random thoughts, well that's how Big Love can seem at times. So many storylines to follow, one might need a scorecard. But all of the story lines and plot twists in this episode add up to suspense, intrigue and a couple of surprises that none of uss saw coming.

And we'll all be back next week to see what follies this polygamous Brady Bunch has to offer.moreless
  • Another great episode.

We are learning early on some of the big secrets that we have been hearing about that are in store for this season. We now know that Nicki does NOT want anymore children anytime soon. This is probably going to bite her in the behind on down the road. We also found out that Wanda doesn't want Kathy in her family and she was desperate enough to go to Alby and appeal to him, which was crazy considering she poisoned him in the first season. Ana is now dating the Henricksons, and she seems less than thrilled about it all. Two of Don's wives left him and took their kids with them. That was a shocker and left Don at a total loss when it came to backing Bill on the casino pitch. We also got to see Frankie again and it appears he is dating RHONDA?!?! I don't know how to react to that one. Sarah breaks up with Scott and we see her crying at the end and clutching a book for expectant mothers. We also found out Barb has a clean bill of health at the end. There was alot to take in during this episode, but I can't wait to see what happens next.moreless
