Big Love

In the scene where Barb calls Nicki's credit card company, she is looking at a sheet of paper with all the family members' birthdays, social security numbers and phone numbers on it. There are several curiosities, mistakes and other oddities on that paper:

• Bill's birthday is 17 May 1955, which makes him 50 years old. This is the actual birthday of actor Bill Paxton.
• Barb's birthday is listed as 10 June 1974. However, according to the character biographies on the HBO website, Bill and Barb met at the University of Utah, which means they should be roughly the same age. Having been born in 1974 would mean that Barb is 31, which means she would have had their first baby, Sarah, when she was 16. The biography states, however, that she graduated from college with a teacher's degree before having a baby. Therefore, Barb's birthday on that sheet of paper is clearly a mistake. It's possible that the year is a misprint since actress Jeanne Tripplehorn is born on June 10, 1963 (making her 42). That would still mean an 8-year age difference with Bill.
• Nicki's birthday is 18 November 1974, which means she is 31. This is actress Chloe Sevigny's actual birthday.
• Margene's birthday is 22 May 1978, which is the actual birthday of actress Ginnifer Goodwin. While she is 27 in real life, according to the HBO website Margene should be 21.
• Next on the list is a person named Amanda Henrickson, born 3 December 1983. The name should read Sarah Henrickson, who is played by actress Amanda Seyfried. She is indeed born on December 3, 1983, making her 22. However, Sarah should be 16 which means her birth year should be 1990 or 1991.
• Ben's birthday is listed as 22 June 1985, which is actor Douglas Smith's actual birthday. This means he's 20 years old, but Ben should be 15, so his birth year should be 1991 or 1992.
• Tancy's birthday is listed as 16 March 199? (the last digit is possibly 5 or 6). The biography on the HBO website says she is 8 years old (born in 1997 or 1998) but the biography for actress Jolean Wejbe says she is 11 (born in 1994 or 1995).
• The rest of the names on the list are not visible. It also seems that only the adults in the family have cell phones because only their numbers are listed. They all start with 801-555. 801 is the area code for Salt Lake City, Utah and 555 is a very usual, but fake, phone number prefix used in many TV shows and movies.
