in all it was a good episode, but as far as season finallies go i was a little disapionted. one person i'm really intersted in Ronda, and her twisted role in the sieries and i was upset that she wans't in it, but i was glad to see the potential fourth wife back, i'm intrested to see Barb's reaction when he finds out she's in the picter. Margene's character has taken a turn for the demented. she's becoming a little dark, and mean. i almost feel bad for Nicki, then i remember SHE'S A **** and then i'm glad she is now at the mursy of Margene, i really don't know, or care, about the prophet, and alby's storyline, honestly just get rid of them. and also i'm really dissapionted sarah's boyfriend turned out to be a jerk, when that was one of the things that made the show happy, and she slept with him, why should we care. anyway it was a good episode, and fiar finaly, but i really don't care for next season since they really gave us nothing, exept a fourth wife
Sure this finale wasn't as explosive as the last but it left us with a sense of conclusion. With Sarah losing her virginity, Roman getting arrested after being taken in by Bill, the return of Ana and the possibility of a fourth wife. A lot of things left hanging for season 3, yet season 2 failed to tie some loose ends.
Where in the world is Rhonda Volmer? We've got all season with buildup and her blackmailing Heather, it would only make sense to include her in the season 2 finale, but I was sadly disappointed. Other than that, everything else exceeded my expectations even though it wasn't as good as last season.
The final scene was intriguing, and it got me pumped for season 3. Bringing Ana back just proves that there is no such thing as a filler episode on Big Love, with the show always bringing back plots from the past, like Wanda's problem with poisoning people. Which is what I hope they do for Rhonda next season.
This season has been a great ride, and this was a very suitable conclusion. Alby taking over the compound, the feud with Weeber gaming finally being resolved. All I can say after watching this is I can't wait for the season 3 premiere.
The Big Love season two finale has come and gone and it certainly did not disappoint. It was not that much better than the previous episodes this season, but it certainly answered a lot of the questions we have been asking all year about the status of the characters, and asked some new questions to be built up for next season's finale.
The show just knows how to use every minute to the fullest, as the 55 or so minutes just seem to fly by, while other shows drag for just 42 minutes. Big Love excels with the longer runtime while Dollhouse creator Joss Whedon cries about it ruining his show.
over all a good episode but a little sketcy for a season finale. i think barb deserves a break this was not the kind of life she bargained for when she married her heart trob bill. unlike the other wives that knew what they were marrying into. now a fourth wife common bill! listen to barb three is enough. nikki am not a fan of hers she's always clumsy and mischievious she was the cause of roman going to prison she blabs too much i hope nargene gets to love bill again she's family. what barb did with the neighbours was brave. a good episode but not a very conclusive one for a finale
This episode had great moments, like margene bringing ana home and telling her about the family, the ueb voting for bill and then voting for alby, sarah getting laid, roman getting arrested, barb taking back her place as "the wife".
oh i also loved the moment when barb told the neighbor about the family.
i never really liked nikki coz she always do something wrong, like calling albie to tell him that roman was going back, if she had kept her mouth shut he wouldnt be arrested and would take albie of the power.
now we just have to wait to see what will happen next season, and if bill will get a wife number 4 or not :)
Finally! A season finale that doesn't make me want to break my TV! This was a really great episode. Everyone on this show is crazy and I love it! Margene has definitely started to assert her power in the family. Nikki, while trying to do well actually probably screwed over her father by informing Alby that he was coming back to the compound. I am glad that Barb finally made a decision about her family. I am also glad she decided to stay because it makes for a better show. She did exactly what I was hoping. Make a decision and stick to it. I am interested to see where they go next season with Alby and everything. He really needs to get it. Great ending!
I don't know about anyone else, but I came away from this season finale a bit disappointed. We got very little resolution to the things that have been building up all season. Ok, let me back up a sec and say that we *did* finally get to see Barb embrace (for lack of better word) her lifestyle when she took Marg across the street to Pams and told the truth about their plural marriage. She did this because #1. Marg told Pam she would be her surrogate and #2. Because Margene was bonding with Ana. We also found out that Lois was the one who told Wanda to try and kill Frank, the D/A. and maybe Alby and tonight tried to get her to kill Roman. Nothing ever came of that, by the way. I feel like alot of the story was fragmented. Sarah apparently lost her virginity to Scott. Heather and Sarah tried to talk some sense into Ben, but he wasn't interested. We didn't get to see Rhonda at all, which was a big surprise. Ana showed up again and Margene told her the truth. By the way, she is still very interested in Bill and was kissing him near the end of the ep. Nothing came of that either and I was sure Barb was going to catch them. Barb, by the by, made it abundantly clear that she does NOT want a 4th wife. The face-off with Roman and Bill was pretty anti-climactic. Bill was trying to get Roman back into power to get Alby out of power, but Alby had a few tricks up his sleeve. Surprisingly, Bill was voted as the chairman of the UEB but he wasnt interested. Bill has his own path to travel, and Lois was not happy that he turned it down. We also didn't get to see Frank tonight and it seemed for the time being, Kathy is safe. Well, as safe as she can be with Wanda. Nicki...where do I begin with Nicki?
She finally did stand up to her Papa and followed Bills wishes. This was a major step forward to her, but she screwed up by calling Alby and telling him their Papa was being brought back to Juniper Creek. This allowed Alby time to get the state police to arrest Roman. All in all it was a good episode, but still didn't resolve alot of the storylines.
