    This episode seemed like it was destined for greatness as it had an excellent premise with Bill and Margene spending the weekend together, something that surely would result in hijinx, some yelling, some coddling, possibly some wildly inappropriate sex scenes, but we got just about nothing of that. We had a ridiculous scenario with Margene trying to screw over Bill's clients by claiming to be his "mistress" but in the end Bill showed why they are three women willing to take their clothes off for him by being a good dude and introducing her as his wife.

    I wanted more from this episode.moreless

    A really great episode of Big Love and you gotta love to hate Rhonda Volmer. Her manipulating Heather? Wow, talk about development. You wouldn't suspect Heather would have much to do with the on going arcs this season since everyone sees her as Sarah's friend, but she surprisingly does. Heather being exposed as a full blown lesbian wasn't unexpected considering we saw signs as early as season 1 that Rhonda wanted to be more than friends with Sarah. But you can't be too sure, I'm just excited to see how the whole story line will play out. Seeing Rhonda sing the song which tied all the plots together really gave it's viewers a good feeling, and it just made the episode all the more intriguing.

    Margene's humor is greatly portrayed here, and anything having to do with Margene is just absolutely hilarious, and we saw a lot of that here from her breakdown to telling everyone that she's Bill's mistress. Nikki throwing a party was a great owning up to last episode's cliffhanger with the gambling.

    There are a lot of characters now that you just love to hate, and that makes the show all the more intriguing. Characters such as Rhonda, Alby and Bill's father. A great episode of Big Love. Still proves to be addicting.moreless

    I just love the fact the Margene stood up to Barb. Telling her basically to back off and trying to hold Bill all to herself. I loved that scene.
    Nicki is my fav. I could not believe what she let slip out of her mouth. But then again, that is Bill's fault. He should stop hiding things from his wives and stop putting them in danger. Bill got into Weber Gaming to be open about his life. But when he met his old friends, he runs for Barb. If I was Margene, he would seen the backside of my hand. If only that was possible. That's what I got out of it.moreless

  • Everytime I think Bill is being a jerk, he surprises me and does the right thing. Of course that was not the case in this episode. Nicki is completely out of control gambling, shopping.Barb needs to decide if she is in or out.moreless

    This is the my first time doing this so it might not make a whole lot of sense. I was disappointed in Bill for being so insensitive to Margie's feelings. I didn't think he handled the situation very well. I'm not sure what Barb is thinking, she seems to be tired of living the principle, yet she loves Bill very much. I still can't believe Nicki stole that money. She is always searching to make her feel loved. Alby is just plain creepy, he really believes that he will be able to take over as the prophet. I just hope he and his wife don't succeed in killing off Roman. I loved the way that Sarah told Rhonda exactly what she thought of her. Rhonda is such a nasty little twit, I can't wait for her to get what is coming to her. She just keeps getting nastier and nastier. I felt so sorry for Heather because she really is a nice girl and Rhonda is tormenting her. The Joey-Wanda-Kathy thing just doesn't seem like it will happen. And then there's good ole Frank, who is just generably repulsive. I hate that he is trying to take Kathy from his own son just out of spite. I am so addicted to this show, I do hope they get another season.moreless

    Oh man. I have so many things to say about this episode. It may come out like stream of consciousness so bear with me. Barb is annoying me to death. Here is my issue. She is a good mother to be sure, but after that, I feel like she really needs to get her stuff together. She plays the "feminist" role in the family, not wanting Bill to have all the power and yet is miserable in her own family. She makes it seem like Bill forced her into the life of polygamy, but she still had a choice. Her rationalization is that her love for Bill is what led her to follow him into the Principle. But, in the end she did make the choice to follow him. You cannot sit around and constantly complain and be miserable about a choice that you made. If you don't like the life that you lead then change it. She needs to make a decision. Either embrace her lifestyle or leave Bill. It has to be one or the other. Waiting around for Bill to realize that he wants to be in monogamy with you is only going to lead to more and more heartache. She is kidding herself. Bill makes decisions that adversely affect her but instead of making a move to change her situation she takes it on the chin and then complains. Stay or go, but whichever you do, do it with conviction instead of this wishy washy business that has been going on.

    Nicki is a crackpot and I love it. She is so totally confused and drunk with power and money that she didn't even realize that she may have singlehandedly ruined her family with her statements. She has an addiction to money and shopping and now, of course, gambling that she doesn't know how to even deal with herself. If she was on the compound she would probably be better off because the consequences that exist there are ones that she could probably handle and deal with but now she is living outside the bubble that is Juniper Creek and still existing as though she is there. I definitely enjoy her craziness though and, interestingly enough, with her comments to Ben. You can't choose which part of the Principle you like. Plural wives and Plural mothers. Great line. I'm glad to see Margene taking a bit of control in her life, but she is another one who needs to get a bit more of a handle on herself. It's great that she embraces the Principle and her life so completely but she needs to start thinking a little bit more before she acts. I am interested to see how her character progresses.

    Bill is getting to be too much. All of this polygamy stuff has gone to his head and he is getting to be no better than Roman or Alby or any of the rest of them. He treats his wives pretty poorly. Last season he seemed a good guy so it was easier to see why the wives were happier in their roles as plural wives. But this season hes such a jerk that I cant seem to figure out why any of them stay.

    On a shorter note, Rhonda is crazy and diabolical. And also, I totally thought Heather was a lesbian too.moreless
