When Alby comes out of the storage room at the general store, he drops half his water bottles when he sees Bill. However, when the camera cuts to a wide shot of Bill and Alby, he's still holding all his water bottles.
When the police car drives away at the end of the episode it has no headlights OR brakelights visible although it is night-time and lights are legally required to be on (especially on a cop car!)

Nitpick: Jerry told Bill that the dispute with the other casino's owners has been going on since 1877. Later, Bill told Don and said it has been for 150 years, when it's actually 130.
Kathy's full name is Katherine Margaret Marquart.
Goof: The Carthage Jail in Carthage, IL, is incorrectly portrayed as a wooden building of brown color set in a wooded area. In fact, the real Carthage Jail is made of red limestone and is located in the heart of the town, right on US 136.
The scene where Margene accidentally breaks her mom's urn was filmed in Sacramento, CA, in the historic downtown area called Old Sacramento, by the river.

Nitpick: (highlight for a spoiler)
It's been questioned why Bill's secretary Wendy was able to attend the Beehive Mother of the Year ceremony when Nicki and Margene weren't able to get tickets. When Barb realized that there weren't enough tickets for six, it was already too late to get some more, but it's possible that Wendy bought her ticket in advance. However, it seemed as if Wendy did not decide to go until that very day -- at least that's what the episode seemed to suggest as in the scene in the lunchroom with her co-worker.

Nitpick: When the Henrickson family makes out new wills, Barbara distributes the wills to Nicki and Margene, and says, "Just sign yours, and Bill will put them in the safe deposit box." Unless a will is in the individual's own handwriting, all states have some requirement about the signature being witnessed. The other wives, as beneficiaries under the will, cannot serve as witnesses. Merely signing the wills without valid witnesses would result in invalid wills. The family attorney also should not have disclosed to Bill that the wives had been in to change their wills. Instead, once he realized that the four were not in 100% agreement, the ethical rules of his bar association would have required him to refer them to individual independent attorneys.
Although the HBO website for Big Love states that Margene is 21 years old, in this episode the dialogue suggests that she is 23.

Wanda gives birth to her and Joey's first child, a baby boy.
