The return of Roger's driving scene from the first episode was not originally the planned ending for Act 26. The original ending was changed for being too "conclusive" when Adult Swim asked that the ending of Act 26 would be left more open in the case that future episodes were to be produced.
Right after Roger pleads his case, and Angel starts to cry, Roger puts his hand on her shoulder. When we learn that it is him, you can see a poster for Big O in the background.
Roger: Huh, what is this? (Roger watches the controls change, he turns to Dorothy) Dorothy, how did you know?!
Dorothy: I was informed by a buffoon with curly hair and gaudy clothing.
Roger: That son of a gun, ha ha!
Roger: Hey, Alex! It's time you taste the people's rage!
Gordon Rosewater: Hear me, true author of this book! Fill the blank pages with memories!
(Gorden holds the book up and watches the book flip through the blank pages. The colors of the book, the elevator and Gordon invert; he yells his final words)
Gordon Rosewater: It's up to you now, negotiator!
Alex: This world has a new order now! It has a new god!
Roger (to Big Venus): Angel! Memories are very precious to people's lives. They give us the opportunity to prove to ourselves that we exist, and if we lose them, we have an unrelenting fear of uncertainty. You must listen to me, the humans that are living here and now in the present are made of more than just memories of the past. I myself don't even know who I am; I don't have a single solitary memory about myself, but I don't believe anyone took them from me. I most likely erased them of my own free will. I was the one who made that choice, I made it for myself; so I can live in the present and the future, because I must go on believing there is a me! Angel! I know that I will never lose the you that is now a part of my memories. The you that met me and the conviction you had in what you felt you needed to do. The you that loved yourself more than anyone else ever could. I'll never forget this woman named Angel who once loved herself, yet was filled with such a doubt. You must stop denying your own existence; you have to live as a human being.
Dastun say BIG O's name for the first time instead of calling him Mega Dues.
This is the final episode of Big O. For information on Season 3 (or the lack of it) see the show summary.
Big Fau's judge (the hourglass) tips everytime the pilot says something self-righteous.
At the end of this episode, when Angel set the world back to the first episode of the season, it appeared as if Dorothy was human.
Big O is built for combat on land, Big Duo for Air combat, and Big Fau is built for Sea battling. This is also because the Bigs represent Behemoth, Viz, and Leviathan, respectively.
Big Venus and Angel represent Lucifer.
Angel learns of who she truly is - the "Director of the World" or, in it's true form, the angelic Big-Venus who erased all memories 40 years ago.
That was the meaning of Vera's riddle, "A bird whose wings have been plucked will shed all it's feathers, will turn into the beast it was before it evolved into a bird." This was referring to how Big Venus took on a human-form after the war 40 years ago.
