    • TRIVIA (2)

      ADD TRIVIA
      • There has been a certain amount of debate due to Gordon's comment that Roger isn't one of his beloved tomatoes--some have taken it to imply it means that Roger Smith isn't a tomato at all. However, the actual quote is "Of all my cherished tomatoes, Negotiator, you aren't one of my beloved ones." In this context, it is probably safe to say that what Gordon means is that while Roger Smith is indeed one of the tomatoes, he is not one that Gordon was watching closely or one that he expected much out of.

      • Vera shows no signs of being shot by a gun (which she was in episde 23 "Twisted Memories). Instead, she has lots of bandages over her left eye and around her head. A gunshot would not cause that unless shot in the eye, in which she was not.

    • QUOTES (2)

      ADD QUOTES
      • Roger: The way you were given life has nothing to do with the way you live your life as a human being.

      • Schwarzvald: The giants who formed this world into it's sensual form, and now seem to live in it in chains, are in truth the causes of it's life and the sources of all activity, but the chains are the cunning of weak and tame minds, who have power to resist energy.

    • NOTES (1)

      ADD NOTES
      • The original title was "The War of The Paradigm City", an obvious grammatical error. On airings as of 2005, Cartoon Network digitally edited the title card, removing the superfluous "the".

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Vera: "'There's no place like home...' Your favorite line from your favorite book." This is an obvious reference to Frank L. Baum's classic novel, The Wizard of Oz, which was made into a 1939 movie starring Judy Garland. This isn't the first reference Big O has made to this novel. In episode 14 "Roger the Wanderer", there was a radio play entitled "Walking Down the Yellow-Brick Road" in which Roger, Dorothy, Angel and Dastun discuss their lives and the loss of memories.
