  • This show got off to a slow start but this episode partially made up for all of that.

Seriously, Big Shots is plagued by an interesting story that is oddly (or poorly) written. Very good actors are somehow diminished in this show (Michael Vartan & Nia Long!). But still, there was promise. I mean fans want to know if Lizbeth really wants to be with Terrence, if James will go back to his wife, if the new intern is really Duncan's son, and when will James and Katie ever get together. Well this week was exactly what the previous episodes had failed to be to some degree, it was progressive. Finally, the plot moved along. We find out that yes, Zack is Duncan's son, and then the whole Dontrell/Duncan fiasco is on the news and Duncan is subsequently fired. And just before that happens James and Katie kiss. It's a bit awkward because we found out that Katie has been having an affair with a married man and James is very disappointed in her, probably even more so since his girlfriend broke up with him because he's so obviously in love with Katie. But Katie "shocks" us with her admission that it's so hard to find someone that she likes being with as much as James. And then they kiss. Katie's reply: "I've got to go." Unfortunately, we'll have to wait 2 weeks! to see another episode. I'm actually really sad. Somewhere along the way, even considering all of the mediocre episodes, this show became a part of my schedule. I look forward to it. And considering the other new shows that ABC brought to the table, I'm surprised that I love this one. And since the internet is buzzing (sort of) about this show being cancelled, I'm in a right state. Get it together ABC and keep this show alive. Get it together...,moreless
