So I was definitely skeptical about this show at first. I think what scares people off most about this show is the fact that it's so generic. When it first premiered, I found myself rolling my eyes that Nickelodeon "sold out" to the media, with the boy band being the new fad.
Then I found out Scott Fellows created the show. He created Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide which was definitely the best show on Nick for 3 consecutive years. So I decided to try it out with this episode. I was impressed. This really is a guilty pleasure, I mean who would want to admit to liking this show, other than 12 year old girls?
All in all, we've got Ned's-esque humor, and this show made me realize how great Scott Fellows is. I mean with all the subtle humor between Logan, James and the mother. Something you definitely wouldn't regularly see on Nick. The vending machine thing I could have done without, but it was mildly entertaining. Overall, a good episode.
