Tommy now probably accepts his destiny as a werewolf.

Tommy must've been hanging out with Merton too long to start acting like him when he told him about Nicholas Cage in "The Family Man".

The universe was probably trying to make Tommy understand that it was his destiny to become a werewolf and fight evil, by taking him into the alternative world where he was not a werewolf.

Ironicly tommy does the "what happened in the movie?" mix-up on merton, who usually does it.
