    "Great"
Good introduction to the series. Having Tommy be the narrator is not a bad idea. We see things from his perspective, and even though it may sometimes be jarring, it's not awkward.

So Tommy's bitten by a werewolf, the scene at the forest hilarious (especially with Tommy screaming in terror), and back at school Merton recognizes him as a wolf about as soon as he sees him. Merton's lair is totally cool btw!

Liked the way Tommy's trying to live his life even after the bite, the denial kind of cute. He wants to be the football captain and date Stacy, but it's not easy with the wolf stuff. Merton looks like he will be a great sidekick. Hopefully Stacy will become more than the cliched potential girlfriend, unless that's her role in the series, that is. The werewolf effects aren't bad, even with the obvious two dollar budget, but the silliness of the full werewolf effects take a moment to get used to. Not exactly the best of episodes, but an intriguing pilot ep. Will definitely watch this again.moreless

    • Stacey: Why did you wait eleven years to ask me out? Tommy: Well, in the second grade I had a pretty serious relationship with G.I. Joe.

    • Becky: If you're done downloading nudie pictures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, dinner's ready. Merton: Get out of my lair! Becky: It's not a lair, Freakenstein! It's our basement!

    • Merton: I'm president of the Gothic Fantasy Guild. Now, the school cut our funding when the other guy graduated, but we're coming back strong.

    • Merton: I was facing an army of orcs, and all I had was a +6 Light Sword and 12 Hit Points! Oh yeah! The heat was on! Stacey's Friend: Would you excuse us? For - ever?

    • Tommy: That should be me in there dancing with her, but no! Look at me! I'm a monster! Merton: Hey, you just saved my butt back there! A monster wouldn't have done that!

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • When Becky comes to get Merton for dinner, she says "when you're done downloading nudie pictures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, diner's ready" obviously referring to the 90's television show. She insults him with this because he is in to weird stuff, so naturally he would be looking for naked pictures of a witch instead of a normal person.

    • Merton states that no monster is good, "except for swamp thing, he had a good heart." Referencing the movie, Swamp Thing.

    • Merton, insulting himself, refers to himself as "freakenstein" Also, Tommy mentions to Merton "I'm going to need an Igor, right?" both referencing the Book/Movie Frankenstein.

    • Show Title: The show's title spoofs the title of the 1989 film Big Man on Campus.

    • Merton: In the history of werewolf cinema, good werewolves have only appeared in Teen Wolf and Teen Wolf Too.-------------------------------------- Merton makes a reference to a comedy and its sequel. The first film is about a young teen by the name of Scott Howard, who is going for a girl who doesn't start to notice him until he becomes a werewolf.
