The Bookmobile
AIRED:
A strange bookmobile makes its way to Pleasantville, with a rather eccentric librarian at the helm. As Tommy continues to pursue Stacey and Merton continues to find ways to deal with the various dilemmas Tommy faces as a werewolf, the librarian is secretly turning her patrons into books. • Tommy decides to stay a werewolf.

First of all, can Merton's car get any cooler? Okay, now that I got that out, this episode was pretty cool. Not all books are evil, unless used for evil things, obviously. Tommy definitely used the evil side of Stacey's book. If he ever gets her, it'll be a miracle. It's nice to see that Tommy is bonding with Merton so nicely, even as Merton is his exact opposite. I'm starting to remember why I had such a crush on Merton when I watched this back in the day. Big Wolf was such a wonderful show, 'tis a shame it had to end...moreless
  • First monster of the week turns out to be... a little old lady.

Tommy with the flea collar totally cracked me up...

The second episode of the series, and it's way better than the pilot. Tommy's working hard on finding a cure on the werewolf thing, the evil librarian turns people to books, and our heroes seem to have great chemistry between them. Also, the werewolf special effects (er.. the sideburns and the hair...) look good.

Merton's need to become the werewolf in Tommy's stead is so cute, as is Tommy's reaction to it. The jokes and the goofy way to solve the mystery of the disappeared people was actually funny and not forced.moreless
  • The pilot was a bit rocky, naturally, becomes it had to set up all the exposition. This episode sold me with a brillant plot. Will Stacey have more mis-adventures? Will Tommy tell her about being a werewolf? Will Merton ever find true love?moreless

Classy episode all the way. I would also like to request that someone who is level two to edit a quote. Merton is writing a book called An American Werewolf in Leningrad..not Lynnecrat, which isnt a real place. Anyhow...go Merton and check out his new band, The City Drive, TODAY!
