This episode makes the werewolf "curse" come full circle as now Tommy, Lori, and Merton have all been werewolves for at least one episode of the series.
-
Santa mentions Merton's 'Skeletor Christmas Album' last seen in Season 2's "Imaginary Fiend" in Merton's old toy trunk.
-
Originally, the Evil Santa Claus was supposed to die from falling off a sled. However, "Standards & Practices" would not allow this. Therefore, Tommy saves him with a parachute labelled "S&P."
-
As the series was nearly cancelled and the future of the show was in doubt, cast members hair had changed in between the filming of the counterpart of this episode. Therefore, when walking back into the lair, Tommy and Lori both ask each other if their hair is different.
-
This was nearly the series finale, as the show literally narrowly escaped death, coming back for a 3rd season.
-
The series barely escaped cancellation after the end of the 2nd season. However, fans wrote trying to save the series and get a conclusion to this cliffhanger ending.
-
If Merton dyes his hair with Midnight Black hair dye by L'Orel, as Raven says, when he grows a beard it wouldn't be the same colour as his hair.
-
This episode is also often referred to as "Manchu: Part Deux."
-
Seeking forgiveness, Dean pours out his heart to the tv remote control!
-
When Tommy is running home to his brother, he is wearing his football jacket and jeans. When he enters his house, he is wearing a different shirt and pants.
-
Lori says that nothing as cool as the werewolf happens in "our town". Since her school IS in the same town, the script should have been "our school".
-
At the end of the episode, Tommy is walking down the hall playing a Game Boy.
-
Merton is shown talking to the Gothis Fantasy Guild about Vlad the Impaler and tells them that he became knows as Vlad Dracula after all his impalings, but this is not true, he was always known as Vlad Dracula because his father was Dracul, bestowed the Order of the Dragon for his fight against the Turks, Dracula was a title that he always had.
-
This episode's title is an obvious reference to the popular Blue Oyster Cult song of the same name.
-
We are introduced to Merton's alter-ego: Mr. Crazy Pants!
-
Merton reads the name on Evil Tommy's fake ID out loud--Hugh G. Ballzac. A tad racy for a children's show.
-
The classical music that Tommy plays in the park to calm him down is 'Canon,' composed by Pachelbel. However, it is being played much faster than the intended original composition. This could actually be a gag on the show because the music could be heating Tommy up because of it's pace.
-
At the end, nothing that happened in this episode actually happened because the watch being destroyed took time back to the beginning of the episode. This means that (hilarious as it was) Becky's tape of Merton tied up in the lair rolling around on the floor shouldn't have existed for Merton and Tommy to find.
-
How did he give blood without wolfing out?
-
Merton bases their defence against the vampires on the fact that in The Lost Boys the vampires couldn't get into the house without an invitation, but this is not true.
In the film, being invited into a house means that there is no way for a human to tell that the vampire is a vampire, e.g. they will have a reflection etc. but the vampires do get into the house without an invite towards the end of the movie, only to be destroyed by Sam, Michael, and the Frog brothers.
