NBC (ended 2007)

FILTER BY SEASON

  • Season 1 Episode 8: Do Not Disturb

    ADD TRIVIA
  • In the scene where Jaime takes the rifle to go kill Nick's dad, the bottom of the suitcase where the gun is hidden is open (we can see the bullets), immediately after the camera shoots from a closer angle and she's removing clothes and opening the bottom of the suitcase again.
  • When Jaime calls Jonas on her cell phone, a bunch of information about her pops up on his computer, made available to him by a program he installed. Information about Jaime includes: SSN: 987-65-4327 Height 5'7" Date of birth: Feb. 23, 1983 Mother: deceased Father: resides in Des Moines
  • Jaime: You know what, I'm getting used to it. About two minutes into the episode Michelle Ryan (Jaime) clearly slips while speaking and forgets to hide her British accent during this line. The British accent is most clear when she says "what".
  • The music video Becca is watching when Jaime walks into their apartment is "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance.
  • Jaime and Becca stay at room 108 and this episode is 1x08 (season 1, episode 8).
  • Season 1 Episode 7: Trust Issues

    ADD TRIVIA
  • The apartment of the hitman is also the same apartment that "Starbuck" lived in with a Cylon in "New Caprica" on Battlestar Galactica Season 3.
  • Season 1 Episode 6: The List

    ADD TRIVIA
  • Goof: Jonas shows up in Paris shortly after bailing Jaime's sister out of jail in the USA.
  • Goof: When Jaime is talking to Victor on the phone, he is using an Apple iPhone, but he is holding it upside down, talking into the earpiece, with the microphone to his ear. Additionally, the screen is active, giving away it's not really making a call, as iPhone screens dim and deactivate when held to one's ear while making a call.
  • The name of the character "Victor Booth" is likely to have been inspired by real-life arms dealer Victor Boot, who made his fortune by selling black-market weaponry and delivering said weapons, not to mention other goods, to and from the most dangerous places in the world.
  • Season 1 Episode 5: The Education of J...

    ADD TRIVIA
  • When the neurotransmitter is being demonstrated by having the subject juggle, they also prove its ability to reduce pain response by burning the subject's hand with a blowtorch. Though the neurotransmitter could have the ability to reduce pain, it should not have the ability to actually stop his skin from burning, but for some reason it does and there is no skin damage.
  • The line "How's your British accent?" is an in-joke. Michelle Ryan is British.
  • Season 1 Episode 4: Faceoff

    ADD TRIVIA
  • Goof: In the ventilation system, our Bionic Hero stops the huge fan blade and bends it to let her and Antonio pass through. The moment she stops the fan, the motor, or place where the belt connects, is shown to smoke and all the sounds of that fan running cease. Even after Jaime bends the fan, it does not attempt to keep moving, giving the impression that the motor has been disabled. Yet when they go to escape, she bends the fan blade back into its original shape, and the fan starts spinning and is back to its original speed in seconds.
  • Nitpick: Once again Becca mentions using the Internet, even though in the Pilot Jamie states that Becca has a court order stating she can't use computers connected to the Internet. Jaime apparently forgot about the court order, and is just upset the Becca is meeting up with guys from a chat room.
  • Nitpick: Antonio tells Jaime they are landing on the airstrip in a Gulfstream jet, however the two shots of the plane in the show are definitely NOT a Gulfstream.
  • In this episode it's revealed that Jaime is afraid of flying. The Jaime Sommers of the original The Bionic Woman was a skydiver, meaning she was definitely not afraid of flying.
  • Season 1 Episode 3: Sisterhood

    ADD TRIVIA
  • During the pilot episode Jaime's sister Becca is not allowed to use computers. It seems like an important point, as we're even told that there's a court order stating she can't use computers. But then in this episode Jaime apparently forgot about the court order as she has no problem looking at the family photos Becca has on her computer.
  • Season 1 Episode 2: Paradise Lost

    ADD TRIVIA
  • Jaime is reading the Book What Color is your Parachute? when she first meets Pope in the bookstore. It was a parachuting accident in the original The Bionic Woman that got Jaime her Bionics in the first place.
  • When Jaime and Ruth walk into the house right before they find the girl, a battle scene from the Battlestar Galactica episode "Exodus, Part 2" is playing.
  • Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot

    ADD TRIVIA
  • It's interesting to note that this series starts with the same mood the original series ended with. In The Bionic Woman (1976) Jaime Sommers was a proud agent of the OSI until the last episode "On the Run" where she ran away from the organization to have a normal life. In the new series Jaime Sommers does not trust the organization at the beginning and she obeys orders unwillingly; she will trust it as the story evolves.
  • When Jaime Sommers attempts a first jump from one rooftop to another, you can clearly see that she is wearing high heels, but as she climbs over the parapet wall, you see that her high heels have disappeared.
