Birch & Co. is an interview show hosted by Elizabeth Birch, a former corporate executive and Executive Director of the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBT organization in the United States. The mission for the show is to engage in a thoughtful way with prominent figures about all issues, including those important to the gay and lesbian community. Her guests have included comedian and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell, who speaks about the challenges of parenthood and when she first realized she was gay. Howard Dean is confronted about statements he made on the 700 Club in 2006 about gay rights. Pat Buchanan defends his position on gay marriage as well as Ronald Reagan and the Republican Party's record on AIDS. Other guests have included "Will and Grace" creator Max Mutchnick and civil rights leader John Lewis. Birch is candid and forthright in her opinions and she brings that out in her guests.
