Birdman Coast to Coast

Show Summary

"This is an historic episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Not many people know that in the early stages of this programme, there was a contract dispute, in which the outcome was the last-minute hiring of sub-standard Earth hero Birdman. Now here are the remains of Birdman: Coast to Coast. Enjoy!" -Lokar. Back in 1967, Birdman, a Hanna-Barbera superhero, was joined by the Galaxy Trio to make Birdman and the Galaxy Trio. Birdman fought many, many enemies of freedom and the pursuit of happiness, under the guidance of Falcon Seven. Sometime in 1994, Harvey Birdman was hired as the host of Coast to Coast, but the stint only lasted a mere episode, before Birdman was fired. Birdman would return several times over the years, once to resume his hostly duties. For a while afterwards, Birdman sold tent campers in Indiana. Since then, Birdman has become a lawyer, who works under the guidance of Phil Ken Sebben, for his new program titled Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law. You can catch Harvey Birdman's weekly antics on The Cartoon Network's Adult Swim lineup every Sunday night at 11:30. The show also includes several familiar faces from Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, alongside other Hanna-Barbera stars. OPENING BIRDMAN COAST TO COAST THEME: Birdman, fun as in transmission, Birdman, in the middle of the night, When you're there for Birdman, Diggin' uncle Birdman!moreless

  • This is really more of a show within a show...

I don't think this show should be listed here as a separate show from Space Ghost: Coast To Coast. It is really just a show within that show. If you compare, you'll see that the four episode titles listed here are all episodes of Space Ghost: Coast To Coast. This show is presented as a bit of Space Ghost history - before Chad Ghostal took over as host of Space Ghost: Coast To Coast, Birdman tried out for the job. So don't get confused if you're looking for Birdman Coast To Coast as a separate entity, because it doesn't really exist.moreless
  • a pretty funny animated series.

This was a pretty good animated television series. As is normal with good television shows, this one did not last long enough. This is a show that I would suggest watching if you get the chance. Check the bargain bins at Wal-Mart, the online movies sites ( and such) and all of the cable channels that run old shows. Nick at Nite and TV Land are great for theses kind of shows. They will even do a week long spot for shows that only had 6 or so episodes. Then you have your super stations. They run a bunch of old shows too. All in all a pretty good show that did not get a good enough chance. Sometimes it is a simple as the show it is up against. Look at Law & Order. It is one of the longest running shows on TV. They moved it to go up against Lost. After about 2 weeks of getting pounded in the ratings it was moved back to it's original time slot. Shows like this should be given more of an opportunity.
