Awesome! Tell us how it was! If its anything like black books or his last standup show Monster (saw it on DVD)...it would have been awesome.

Ive always wanted to see his show...but im from from South Aust and i dont think hes coming here. Shouldnt complain tho...when i was in England last year we decided to go see where they filmed Black Books (the shopfront). On our way back to our hotel we happened to go down a small street with some pubs on it and guess who was sitting at one of the tables! Dylan Moran just happened to be having a beer...we had a small chat, told him to drop by AUstralia some time (and he did!) and got a photo along with an autograph. Ironic since we just got back from seeing the black book shop!!! What are the odds of that!!

Well thats my brush with fame! Sorry to drag on...lol...

    aw man, that's awesome!
I didn't actually get to meet him, more's the pity. But his show was pretty good. I don't know maybe i was expecting more but it wasn't what i thought it'd be. That said, i was really tired that day and i don't think i was really in the mood for comedy. His material was pretty good, and it was worth seeing, just for the sake of seeing Dylan Moran.
OH! and he did his hair thing from BB!! You know, the 'brushes hair to side and gives cheesy smile'. He did it right at the end of the show and it was brilliant!

    Hey Yall!

Dylan Moran is coming back to 'Stralia soon.

I've got a ticket for the Perth show but was very close to missing out so check out the BOCS ticketing website for shows near you and don't miss the funny little Irishman

Unfortunately, I missed out this year. By the time me and my friend found out he was in Melb for the 07 festival, it was already sold out! Come to think of it, I didn't see any acts this year except on tv, which doesn't really count. Hmm. I have to remedy that. lol. might be difficult since the festival's over. Still, there's always next year to look forward to.

Oh, and in case anyone's interested, if you do a search for Dylan Moran in YouTube, you can see some pretty good stand up material (same goes for David Strassman, who isn't in black books or even an actor but is another really good comedian/ventriloquist)

I went to that show and had the pleasure of meeting him! After the performance me and my friend Cathryn went round to the Stage Door, and sure enough out he came. He had a cigarette in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. I was a bit excited (!) and managed a polite 'hello'. He gave a brief nod and turned around to talk with some of the stage crew. Finally I worked up the courage and said "I'm sorry to bother you, you must be quite exhausted, but would you mind singing my program?" He looked half suprised and half amused and said 'Yeah 'kay". He got out a pen and scrawled my name in the program (it's barely intelligable!) and then I shook his hand and told him I was a big fan of his. "My dad wanted to come see you too, but he's on holiday in Italy, so I consider it fair," I told him. "OK!" he laughed.

He seemed like a real nice guy, definitley not a Bernard! An awesome evening!
