- When Fran arrives back at the store after her trip away, there is a pile of unopened post on the mat outside the shop's door. However, when the shot shifts to inside, and Fran walks in, the post is no longer there. Edit
- Dylan Moran and Simon Pegg also appear together in the movie Shaun of the Dead. Tamsin Greig also made an appearance in the film. Pegg also worked with Bill Bailey in Hot Fuzz. Edit

Simon Pegg's insistence that Manny shave off his hair, in particular, may well be revenge for Bill Bailey's character disdaining Tim's hairin episode 202 of Spaced, "Change". Edit
