  • Train becomes a sweeper.

    7.8
About 6 months have passed since the last episode. Train now hangs out with Eve and Sven as a sweeper. Elena encounters Jenos Hazard (Chronos #7) and he talks about the Taos and the weird drinks that give them special powers. Train and co. are looking for a dude to sweep called Igor Planter because they're short on money, so they're traveling around to find him. Some dudes give Igor a Tao drink which is supposed to give him special powers. Eve finds Igor and decide to attack, with the help of Train, but they were no match for Igor. But Igor drank too much of the Tao drink at once and self-destructed.

A new life for Train and others, and the mysteries of the Tao is still to be revealed. Sweeping looks like a fun job.moreless

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Igor: (to Eve) Are you the type of person who would kill a defenseless plant? Don't step on the flowers! You may look like a cute little girl but I can see the monster you really are.

    • (gunshot sounds)
      Igor: Who is it?
Train: Your everyday sweeper. Sorry for keeping you waiting, princess.
Igor: No matter how many comes, it's still the same. (sips potion) It's coming, it's coming, it's coming!
Train: You've got some problems, old man.

    • Train: Eve!
Sven: To think that you'd be so worried over Eve. You're going to make me cry.
Train: Damn, I'm going to lose the game!
Sven: That's not the problem here! (knocks down rubbish bins) Train, wait! Then again, don't wait! In any case, find Eve!

    • Jenos: A new power opposing Chronos has emerged.
Rins: Against Chronos? They're reckless people.
Jenos: They're a group of Tao wielders.
      Rins: Tao?
Jenos: The strange power that originates from the Forbidden Continent. Twenty years ago, Tao wielders were eradicated by Chronos. However, criminals using such powers have appeared recently. Possessing monstrous powers, they are creating havoc at will. Moreover, they all self-destruct afterwards. There have been three such cases. The similarity between them is that before they caused the uproar, they were visited by a suspicious-looking pair.
Rins: Are they Tao wielders as well?
Jenos: Most likely. The three who obtained the power of Tao were told to consume a strange drink from the two. A drink that grants the power of Tao.

    • (Sven sneezes)
      Train: Watch where you sneeze!
      Sven: I-It's definitely cold.
Train: Geez, can't you repair the heater?
Sven: You think I have that kind of money?
Train: Why not? I'm helping out a lot with the sweeper business, you know?
Sven: That's because you eat like a pig! Leeching off me for half a year!
      (Train whistles)

    • Train: Damn, it's cold.
      Eve: Well, it's winter.
Train: Who said it was okay for the seasons to change?
Sven: That's because you didn't think twice about selling your coat.
