  • Potential to be really funny

Too blessed to be stressed!! Love this show from the first episode. It has some rough edges but it has the potential to be a great show. This show definitely has an audience. People with no sense of humor need not apply.
  • Y'all can have your "touched by an take my BLACK JESUS

Funny, touching at times. The episode "I gave at the playground" is absolutely amazing, Boonie's girl is so real and vulnerable but STILL manages to kick the hell out of poor Jesus. Count me as a disciple!
  • If You Pass On The Show, I Don't Blame You

I'm Christian and try not to take the show to heart that much because I know the person who is producing it. Now there are some things wrong with it and its the message it send particularly about black people. The jokes could be so strong, but with the black/ghetto stereotyping, thats a very bad label and the "Jesus" in the show is very controversial and McGruder should have thought twice about that. For now, i am only watching it to see if he is a fake or not, other than that its not that funny.moreless
  • LOL and ROFL

I'm not Christian but boy is this a funny show.

I agree with other posters, this show really does give a warm message and what's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing!
  • Praise be to Jesus!

Not only is this show laugh out loud funny, but it sends a good message too. Was Jesus really a blonde, blue-eyed stiff? He was a man who embraced the disenfranchised and the poor in society. This is the best thing to happen to Christianity in a long time. Too many Christians today have lost touch with what it means to follow his example in my opinion. I think this comedy program serves as a not too subtle reminder.moreless
