Why do you enjoy watching the Black Sheep Squadron series?

I'll hold off on posting my reason so I don't influence others but I really do enjoy the series.

Was my favorite show as a teenager. Met Pappy at an airshow before he died. Nice man. Really wish they would release the 2nd & 3rd edition dvds.

I just adore this series! These were real American heroes and that is a hard thing to find this day and time. Plus I have long been an admirer of Robert Conrad and Robert Ginty!

Because the show basically set into motion a whole series of events that shaped and defined who I am today. I am extremely heavily involved in aviation and it all started by me joining the military and becoming a pilot. That was years ago. Today, I fly for a living, make lots of money, and am going to buy an authentic W.W. II aircraft just like in the series. All because of what I watched as a little kid in the late 70's. Yes, it had a PROFOUND impact on my life.

P.S. - I've also met the real Pappy many, many times and met several of the actors from the show.

I've always been a WWII buff of sorts (many family members have served in different branches of the military), I liked Robert Conrad in Wild Wild West (Hawaiian Eye was a bit before my time, though I caught it in re-runs), and the cast was such fun to watch! I've been on a real kick watching this show lately, and during on of my favorite episodes I caught a continuity mistake that I missed the first several times I saw the episode! Always something new with this show! Plus, I was about 14-15 when it came on the air, and it was filled with good-looking guys---always nice!
