Well, it's officially been pulled from Channel Nine's line-up down here and there's many happy faces.
Not only does it not stick to the story at all, i's absolutely horrid and makes no sense. Ripley now has a mistress and instead of being a shining beacon of light for a small town he's just a copy-cat trying to be Nicky Fontana (Hugh Jackman.) Melanie Griffiths is absolutely awful and her role as Bunny (or whatever it is, i was busy getting angry at Hugh Jackman et al at the time) is just stupid.
Not agreat loss for televisions viewers or Blackpool fans at all!
