Blade: The Series Forums

First impression of Blade the Series is that it's a pretty good action show "but" Kirk 'Sticky Fingaz' Jones does a horrible job of acting in it, I don't know of any of his other acting jobs but this one is less than desirable.

i agree but he has grown on me the as episode contiued. I enjoyed the pilot

It's a good show and I look forward to another season. Kirk is ok as Blade. Physically, he fits the description, but he's just not as good when it comes to his acting. If the show continues, he'll get better.

Oh no doubt I'm looking forward to the second season as well, I just thought I'd mention the obvious.

I like Jones, he ain't no Wesley, but he's not so bad. I didn't like Jill Wagner in the begining, but I think the acting all around has gotten better. I've always like Shen, Marcus and Chase. I just hope the show gets picked up. I read the ratings dropped after the first few episodes, which sucks, because I think the last 4 or 5 episodes have been the best. People are missin' out!

Ya he kicks ass, and I had the same feeling that his acting wasn't that good, but towards the middle he started portraying a really cold attitude that has made me look at his charater as blade in a different light. He is not human at all he's the monster the vampires fear. I sense an unfeeling coldness in the series that I didn't get in the movies and I like it. I can not wait for another season.

Sticky Fingaz tries to hard to be the Wesley Snipes "Blade" instead of his own Blade. If that makes sense.

I think the show took a while to get started, and struggled a bit at times, but certainly improved towards the end. I'm hoping it get's renewed because it has a lot of potential.

totally agree with everyone, started off rocky but has gotten pretty smooth. Hope blade returns.

The start was OK, but the series has improved.

i love the blade series it better than movies, i hope there is a 2nd series and a 3rd

i think kirk jones did a good job being  blade, well i had to get used to him after 2 episodes. but the show is awesome, the effects the fight scenes, and the storylines are amazing. this show is so much better than buffy or angel. i love blade.

i like the fils of blade but the first impression of the series was ok but not to much appealing though i havent seen the series fully to get the good grip of it, i saw the first episode which wasnt to mad though i didnt quite get use to the charictor, anyone know what channel it is on and what time and day, i wouldnt mind seeing more of the season

I didn't like it at first, but I got into it as it went on.
