Blake's 7

The crew have mastered the Liberator's controls, evading the Federation pursuit ships. Blake now plans on attack on Saurian Major, a Federation communications centre.

On the way, they find a drifting spaceship emitting a distress call. Over Zen's objections, Blake and Jenna teleport over. They find the crew in cryogenic freeze, one of them dead. Zen, however, refuses to dock with the ship and shorts out the teleport, forcing Avon to manually dock.

As Zen continues to Saurian Major, they inspect their find. The ship is old, unarmed and set only to land at their destination. Avon sets the cryogenic units to revive the crew while he works to decode its computer core.

Blake, Vila and Avon teleport down to the surface of Saurian Major and wait for the rebels to contact them. On the ship, Gan tells Jenna he plans to stick with Blake. He was exiled for killing a security guard who killed his wife. Jenna goes down to check on the sleepers. One of them grabs at her. The other has left his freezer and throws a wrench at her. He chases her as she flees but she manages to lock the docking bay. Gan treats her wound and goes down to investigate.

On the surface, Blake is attacked by a telepathic woman. He subdues her and tells her he has come to destroy the communications centre. She reveals herself as Cally, an Arunar who is the last survivor of the resistance. She plans a suicide attack on the complex but Blake pursuades her to join them.

The lights begin to flicker on the Liberator and Jenna tries to contact Gan. She advances into the hold and finds the the capsule connected to Liberator's power systems. A sleeper attacks her and she shoots him. Gan climbs out of the ship and reveals that he has a brain implant that prevents him from killing and the sleepers overpowered him.

Cally leads Blake into the complex. Blake decides to sabotage the reactor to destroy the complex. Vila breaks into it but the guards raise the alarm.

Jenna returns to the teleport and she and Gan are attacked by the second alien. After a long struggle, Jenna kills him.

Avon sabotages the reactor as the guards try to break in. Blake gives Cally a teleport bracelet.

Jenna goes back to the hold to disconnect the alien ship. Gan returns to the bridge where Zen informs him he has decoded the log. The occupants are guardians who will kill any threat to the gene banks on board, including the Liberator's crew. But there are are four of them.

Avon removes the last safety lock, and Blake calls Jenna to bring them up. But there is no response. Gan manages to struggle up to the console and brings them up just as the reactor explodes, destroying the Federation base.

As Jenna disconnects the ship, a partition in the back of it opens and the fourth guardian emerges. He attacks Jenna from behind but Blake rushes in just in time, knocking the alien into the power connector, where he is electrocuted.

Cally thanks Blake for destroying the base. She can't return home so he asks her to join the crew. Blake, now with a full crew of seven, sets course for their next target.
