  • This show does have a few problems, not least the uneven pace but on the whole it is very good and unfortunately underappreciated.

The show is set in the near future in Germany where strange demons known as demoniac or amalgams appear seemingly at random and injure innocent people. To comabt this the government has formed a specialist police unit called XAT. However, not all of these demoniacs are mindless monsters some of them even seem to be helping XAT. One such man is Joseph and as the story unfolds we learn the real reason behind the demoniacs and the reason that Joseph is battling them.

This show is actually quite clever with some surpisingly intelligent themes around religion, the meaning of God and the evolution of mankind. It also features some very spectacular CGI fight sequences - in particular the use of motorcycles in fights is very well done. It does have a few problems though the most obvious of which is the uneven pace of the show with some episodes exploring 2, 3or 4 plotlines and others seeming to labour a single scene for the entire episode.

All in all the show needs a little bit of fine-tuning but is still an excellent programme.moreless

This has to be THE best televised programme of all time. I just love the storylines, the characters are excellent, and it has a brilliant humor. My favourite character is Drak for his LOVABLE skin and great hair!...Some...really great hair. Other favourite's include Mai-Cou, Sara Strina, Malcolm and Bishop. I love Episode 19, just LOVE it. And the Christmas Special. As I said, My grandfather used to watch this. And it's really ran down in the family. We all give eachother tapes to our children and enjoy and savour each one. Just to relieve the glorius moment one great more time.moreless
