Episode Summary

A Killer Make Over / The Age of Retention
Count Geoffrey has hit wimp bottom. Realizing this, Merle the Wizard encourages him to have a complete Villain make over with the country's top Image Consultant, The Black Knight. Meanwhile, the Dragons stress that they've become uncool in the eyes of the town serfs and prepare to have their own make over with the aid of Marta, of the House of Stewart. We soon find out that Merle is double-dipping, playing both roles incognito. After recent revisions to the "Union Labour Laws Manifesto" no one is more pleased than King Allfire to see that his new neighbour, Duke Rudolph, is employing the local serfs as well as his own Knights, to perform vital union tasks. What the Dragons don't realize is that their preoccupation with their new jobs is how Rudy is able to build a destructive War machine right under their snouts.moreless

    • QUOTES (11)

      • Marta of The House of Stewart: Hey, er, Fiddles, dump this mess, will you?
Flicker: That's "Flicker", m'lady. (under his breath) And I use that term loosely...

      • Queen Griddle: Mocked by serfs! I can think of no greater embarassment!
King Allfire: I don't know; There was the time you broke the "Guess your weight" scale at the county fair.

      • Evil Black Knight: I was told there were four losers for me to train. This the place?
        Count Geoffrey: be the judge.
Evil Knight #3: (skipping rope and singing) How many losers in the room? 1...2...3...4...

      • Marta of the House of Stewart: (referring to the weapons being juggled by Cinder and Clinker)
Flipper, I thought I told you to get rid of those antiques. Throw them in the dump!
Flicker: But, but, but...Cinder and Clinker are family!

      • Flicker: That oppressorly dressed fellow is either collecting props for a German art film, or there's trouble brewing at castle Threadbare.

      • Flicker: Could he sink any lower? Now he's in real estate.

      • Flicker: Not so fast!
Count Geoffrey: You can't dump boiling oil on us!
Flicker: Who said anything about boiling oil? I have the greasiest substance known to dragon kind: Sir Loungealot's hair gel! Have a nice slip home!

      • Various: That's the biggest Sir-port-a-pot I have ever seen!

      • Queen Griddle: If anyone's looking for me, I'll be sunning in my new bathing costume.

        (Kinghts to the new castle)
        Sir Blaze: Eww!
King Allfire: I've never seen anything more ghastly!
Sir Blaze: Ticky tacky, ticky tacky!
        Sir Burnevere: Grotesque monstrosity!
Sir Blaze: I say we bag it and burn it with all the other garbage!

(Griddle pushes them out the window think they were talking about her new bathing costume)

      • Flicker: Call me suspicious, or just call me Flicker, but something's not right here.

      • Duke Rudolph: I should have known this stuff was dangerous when it wouldn't burn!
