Episode Summary

Shamrocks & Shenanigans/ Three Dragons and a Baby
When Queen Griddle desires a pair of authentic RiverPrancing shoes, she sends the Knights on a quest to the Emerald Isle in search of a famous Leprechaun cobbler. This proves to be more trouble than first anticipated, especially since Count Geoffrey is trailing them, in hopes of cashing in on the pot of gold that usually accompanies such a quest. When an ugly little baby dragon lands on the steps of Camelhot, no one suspects that it's a hired infiltrator sent by Count Geoffrey. The Dragons decide to make it their youngest knight, and cannot understand why the Baby is being so disagreeable. Meanwhile, Geoffrey is in for more than he bargained for when "Baby" demands payment el pronto.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • This is one of the very few times that the word "hell" was allowed to be used for the targeted audience range. Another show that allowed hell was gargoyles with
Xanitos: Pay a man enough, and he'll walk barefoot through hell
and Rocko's Modern Life episode with a sign that reads "Elevator to hell"

    • When Flicker unmasks the fake baby in the moat, you here the knights yell "Pull!" to launch a catapolt. When they yell it for a second time it shows that Flicker is launching the catapolt.

    • When the baby's crying and keeping all the dragons up, the shot outside the castle indicated it was dark outside, but when Cinder and Clinker stop the baby from crying in Flicker's room, you see out Flicker's window that it is daylight outside.

    • End of Shamrocks & Shenanigans: When Cinder and Clinker speak, their voices are switched.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Sir Loungealot: Does the proverb, "Hell hath no fury like a dragon without his bickies" mean anything to you!

    • Sir Blaze: What do we call him?
      Flicker: Woodums?
      Sir Loungealot: Chad?
King Allfire: (In response to looking at the very ugly baby) oohgeehaheygehhaho!
Sir Burnevere: Oh, I like that. But it's a wee-bit hard to pronounce.

    • Sir Blaze: Alas! The pizza herold is here!
Sir Loungealot: Thank goodness. I could eat another horse.

    • Flame: I think it's a cover up for one of their silly "boys only" weekends.
Queen Griddle: Is this another Morris dancer and maid marathon!?
