  • It's a Hollow/Shinigami/Zanpakutou factorial party. Those Zanpakutou just won't return to their respective blades...

That was okay. Animation wasn't as impressive as last week's, but there were still some pretty cool poses (notably Hitsugaya's "Hyourinmaru!" [oh wait. I can't use--] Hyourinmaru: "did you call?", even though that wasn't verbal). The story's still intriguing and doesn't yet have a feeling of recycled emo-plot filled in. I'm glad they're not going through all the Shinigami as they have done in the past as that makes everything scattered on the story plane.

    Highlights:
    - Hollow+Zanpakutou, didn't expect that. It may have been a little on the "let's just do that since we haven't tried it yet!" but my first impression was that it was creative. I'm interested in seeing how Kurotsuchi will deal with both that problem and the original problem with returning the tame Zanpakutou back into the swords.

Art was okay, battle scenes were kind of cool, creative storytelling makes me happy enough to give a 7.0.moreless
