While Ichigo faces off against Ulquiorra in Hueco Mundo, Barragan takes charge of the Espada in Karakura Town. He then sets about summoning hollow to destroy the four pillars that were used to replace Karakura Town with the current replica. However, he had not anticipated that they would be protected by Kira, Ikkaku, Yumichika and Hisagi. As such he is forced to dispatch four of his strongest Fraccion to defeat them.moreless

Barrgan takes charge of the arrancars, he sends four members of his fraccion to the four pillars of the fake Karakura. If they are destroyed than the real Karakura town in the soul society will come back!
The pillars are guarded by none other than: 11th squad 3rd seat Ikkaku, 11th squad 5th Yumichika, 9th squad vice captain Hisagi, and 3rd squad vice captain Izuru. I got say I didn't see that coming!

Now to clarify the reason why the soul reaper captains did nothing as well as the espada.
If the four members of Barrgan Fraccion defeat the their opponent at each of their pillar than their will be no need for the other arrancars to get involved. As for the captains if they move to protect the pillars the arrancars will try and stop them leading to chaos and an all out fight. Which is what we want but in a way were each episode focuses a more on fight that makes it easier to follow the story.
What is most interesting is that each of Barrgan faccion (Poww, Findo, Abirama and Charlotte) seems to be paried nicely to each of the pillar guardians. Poww vs Ikkaku. Both are mucho heads who are over confident that they will win

The ones that don't link up is Izuru vs Abirama. Izuru is some what emo and Abirama is a frat boy obsessed with fighting.
All of these sound like interesting battles, I can't wait for them to start fighting and stop yapping, because seriously they have been talking way too much lately.moreless
