TV Tokyo (ended 2012)
Im with BLACK_AZN..this is kind of a stupid thread...but i will answer the question.
IMO Naruto is more of a kids show..like Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon (yes its sad I know ) whereas Bleach is marketed for Teenagers/Young Adults.
So Bleach for me...I just find Naruto gets repeditive and boring after a while.
The main, and perhaps, only problem I have with Naruto is the all-too-familiar melodramatic soliloquoy that appears way too often for my liking. Some people might enjoy that stuff, but every time someone starts babbling on about believing in oneself, I have to leave the room. Sure, the morals they represent might be worthwhile, but the ways that they're phrased are so limited and overused that it has no effect on me. In fact, it has a negative effect on me. While Bleach is certainly not devoid of that, which I don't think any anime is, I first fell in love with Bleach when I recognized its artistic symbolism - the black butterflies, personified weapons, and all the like which might not be new, per se, but it's certainly refreshing compared to dramatic monologues. I'm a huge fan of avant-garde/abstract coloring and art, which is why I absolutely loved and was almost surprised by the presence of that art style in Bleach, especially in the first few dozen introductory episodes.
Long story short, I prefer Bleach.
|Naruto has better Manga. Bleach has better Anime. In my opinion, at least.|
