Back in the Real World Ichigo's sisters decide to adopt a stray cat and call him Raku. They then encounter Kanonji who is searching for a sidekick and are quickly recruited along with Urahara's two assistants.

Clearly a filler episode, but to my surprise, while it was just so out there, it wasn't entirely bad at all. The episode basically stars Jinta, Karin, Yuzu, and Ururu (basically all the kids in the main cast) as they join Don Kanonji in their fight against hollows in Ichigo's absence, and Karin and Jinta's battle for the title of red in Don Kanonji's new TV show, the Karakura superheroes. As you'd imagine, it's almost all comedy with action here and there, and a decent story to make sense of everything. Surprisingly the backstory to this episode wasn't that bad; anything that concerns an animal just seems to be heart warming. The humour in this episode was like the usual Bleach humour, not funny, but it's a tad funnier than the usual Bleach humour. A decent overall episode though.moreless

Though they are necessary for anime based on manga, I usually don't like filler episodes. They break up the action and don't provide much story value. But when done right, they can be entertaining and develop characters.

This is how a filler episode should be done. The new formed Karakura Superheroes try to protect a kitten named Cammy provides just enough of a story to drive the episode. Each character is kept true to their nature as shown in 'regular' episodes. Don Kanonji was as loud, funny and TV savvy as he was in episode 10. The competition between Jinta and Karin for Karakura Red provides the bulk of the laughs. They are both alpha dominant types that would want to claim the team leader spot. Ururu is as reticent as always, while Yuzu aptly plays the damsel in distress. I really liked the over the top homages to Power Ranger and Super Sentai. The great combination of action, quotes and comedy kept me entertained and chuckling throughout the episode. Karakura Attack Formation. Karakura Sonic Lion. Extreme Power of Justice. I loved this episode.moreless

i love bleach i've never seen an episode i havent liked until this one in fact i joined this site for the sole reason to express my hate for this episode it was in poor taste an absolute filler episode nothing important happend and i was expecting a great episode to seeing as how it was right after the episode were rengi abirai told the story of his deep freindship with rukia kuchki as he was dying then he makes ichigo promise to save her i was just in utter shock when i saw this "cutesy" episode i wish i would have skipped this one is all i can really say.moreless

Oh man...This show is the biggest ripoff of Yakkity Yak I have ever seen! Even the name sounds the same! Rukia...Yakkity... Rukia acts almost exactly Dumb like Yakkity, and Rukia's Crush act as a Human Keo, Jinta is a sort of Mr. High-Pants...

I'll admit that eveyone like Jinta, but only because He's is so much meaner like Mr. High-Pants.

I give it 1/10 for originality, 0/10 for voice acting, 4/10 for animation, and 6/10 for music and sound effects. All in all, 1/10. Definitely not one of my favorites. I recommend Basilisk or Sonic X if you're looking for a good anime to watchmoreless

this episode may be a filler episode, but it was a decent filler. I actually kind of enjoyed watching this. it was pretty funny how often the little kids fighted. and the second appearance of Don. i liked how the cat, Raku, was brought in and then made a huge impact on the outcome of the epi sode . i thought that it was too sudden of a break from the actual story line though. It was directly after the fight between Ichigo and Renji and i really wanted to see the outcome of that battle. In the end, i give this episode a 9 out of 10moreless
