Ichigo and Muramasa face off but soon Muramasa is able to turn Zangetsu against his former master. However, in doing so Ichigo's Hollow self starts to take over something which Muramasa did not anticipate.

Now this episode was seriously OMG. It was amazing. I really hate Muramasa. I think he doesn't belong to anyone. I bet he is tricking everyone. I felt sorry for Ichigo. He was in such pain when Zangetsu was pulled out. That had to hurt. Zangetsu was overpowering Ichigo. He barely said a word to him even if he's his Zanpakutou. That is not cool. I thought that would be the end for Ichigo but no. I was so surprised when his inner hollow took control. And even later he was on his whole form. Now that was amazing and so cool. He was invincible. He healed in high speed. Even Muramasa was surprised. But of course Ichigo stopped him

"Perfect"

I usually watch the filler arcs in an anime series pretty much just to see where the animators take a perfectly good story line, and before you get angry yes I know why we have fillers. But for the first time my attention was caught by an episode title that actually delivered, and turned out to be an awesome episode. Not only do we see more of "Old Man Zangetsu," but we also get to see full on Hollow Ichigo. This was one surprise that I didn't expect to come up for another several episode, and I think it grabbed my attention, slapped me in the face, and said "Hey idiot watch this sh*t." The battle that soon ensued between Hollow Ichigo and Zangetsu was short but spectacular as well as the short battle with Muramasa. This episode ended way too early, but that's the main characteristic of a good one. I'm left with questions that we all should have: "Whose heart is Muramasa from, Where is Captain-Commander Yamamoto and Byakuya, What will happen when Muramasa fights Inner Ichigo on his home turf, and Is Mayuri Kurotsuchi not one of the creepiest characters out there? Until next week I'll be sitting on the end of my seat waiting.moreless
