Ok, I would make a list of them all, but lets all just post and see who get the most votes!

1) Esther Sommerson

Esther. Those pockmarks look like freckles or acne. Her eyes are very blue. I like her personality. She seems like a nice person to have for a friend.

Inspector Bucket is a great character.

The actress that plays Esther is incredible though. Bleak House is my favorite book of all time and I was shocked when they actually made a mini series that was worthy of it. And that actress is the one that made it go.

This fantastic show only came to Australia this week, but so far i totally adore Esther! She's great! Great casting too. I can't wait to see the next episode. Alan! Great character. Who plays him? I can't wait to find out. He's always been my favourite!

indeed, he seemed pretty unfair at times, but turns out to be a good guy for sure.

There are so many good ones to choose from. Just to name my personal favourites....
1.Smallweed, a humourous character played by a favourite of mine Phil Davis.
2. Guppy, another humorous character with his status-seeking mother
3. Esther, the star, is a sweet character played by the young up and comer Anna Maxwell-Martin.
4. Tulkinghorn the villain played by a pro Charles Dance.
5. Bucket played by the experienced and talented New Tricks star Alun Armstrong.

Lady Dedlock of course, but I was surprised that I like Tulkinghorn pretty much, although he is not one of the 'good' characters...

Lady Dedlock is at first place for me (how obvious is that^^), but I think the whole casting is just fascinating!!I liked even negative characters..to sum up I want to say that everybody were in their places
I've just finished watching the show and I already miss it..

Tulkinghorn and lady Deadlock....i loved their characters so much that i could feel the tension in the scenes that they were in together...also the french maid Hortense..i liked her firey character and her walking bare footed was funny.

then there are Hortense the maid, Mr Guppy!!, Sargent George such a gentleman, the kid, i don't remember his name though....Mr. tulkinghorn even thou he tried to ruin my Lady, and well in the end he did oh! and i like smallweed although i hate it too ajajaja when he asked his grand daughter to shake him ewwwww ajajajaj
